* Due to my conscious effort to minimize my own environmental impact, Guests must take all trash with them upon departure.
* I can take recyclables only: Must be rinsed clean.
I will take: Glass, Aluminum cans, steel cans only.
I will not take: Plastic water, beverage bottles, to go containers, etc. All must be taken with you.
* This is a Non Smoking property. If you smoke, you can take a walk down the road, but please do not smoke anywhere on the property!
*For the outdoor kitchen, do not leave any food, or scraps, dirty dishes, (it my attract unwanted wildlife to explore your leftovers! Like camping, pack it all away...
*There is a compost pail in the outhouse for food scraps (please, no meat, or cheese in compost). Keep door latched so no unwanted visitors will be able to access compost pail.
** There is another cabin rental, so please be respectful of others as I love having two places in which to offer this beautiful, peaceful piece of land with!
* Please take ALL leftover food with you when you leave. Also, be mindful of recycling, and when you can, take your bottles, etc with you to recycle.
Double check that you have everything when you leave, as guests have left items behind.
*Please refrain from using OFF, or any DEET products on the property, as this is highly toxic when sprayed, as well as when using outdoor shower.
I have lemon/Eucalyptus essential oil in the cabin for your use.
The outdoor shower is supplied with natural biodegradable soap (Dr. Bronners), as well as shampoo...I would appreciate it if you would only use these, as the water does drain right to the ground!
*I am passionate in taking care of the land in a sustainable and respectful way, and I ask that you are mindful as well :)
*Also, only toilet paper in the compost toilet outhouse!
*Feminine products, etc... there is a trash can in there for disposal. ( I know many are unfamiliar with compost toilets)!
*Please do not feed the fish in the pond, or any of the wildlife on the property.
