A self contained cottage.
Great for 2, suitable for a babe in arms. Well behaved pet welcome.

Downstairs a living room with separate kitchen.
Additional bedrooms in main house if required.
Pretty walled garden space.
Pearse's is a pretty cottage with character set back from a quiet village street. We have renovated it recently to a high standard.
All rooms have central heating.
The delightful bathroom has a double ended bath for relaxing after your busy day.
The bed is large, it can be split into 2 single beds if you wish. The sheets, duvet cover, pillow cases and towels supplied are 100% cotton.
We have tried to make your stay here as comfortable as possible.
We are happy for you to bring your babe in arms, but the cottage isn't suitable for toddlers. The cottage has room for a travel cot in the bedroom which we can provide. We welcome a well behaved pet.
There is a small garden with a bench and table at the front of the house.
In the living room is a woodburning stove, the !st basket of logs is provided free of charge.
Though the cottage is compact, there is plenty of space for 2 people.
Extra bedrooms can be booked in the main house which adjoins the cottage, and can be see on our other listing. Price as a joint booking on application.
We should mention that the stairs are narrower in width than normal, also the doorway between the bedroom and bathroom is low, unless you duck you will bang your head, caution needed!
Zugang für Gäste
You will have the whole of the cottage to yourselves.

We are around most of the time, so don't hesitate to ask us questions. Ali was brought up in the area so there is some insider knowledge there!
We can pick you up from Totnes station but bear in mind that there are no shops in the village.
Ashprington is relatively unique as it has no yellow lines or street lighting. What's more it is very pretty. The pub in the village has a good reputation for food and has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. There are however two more pubs a little further away but walkable. A favourite with many guests is the beautiful walk to Totnes with views of the river. Having enjoyed what Totnes has to offer a taxi is often used on the return journey! There are plenty of good walks nearby.
The area has many places of interest.
This is a rural area so not well served with buses, non existent for practicable purposes.
There is a taxi based in the village.
If you are keen on walking, there are lots of pretty walks starting from the cottage. Totnes is an hour or so away walking. There are 3 pubs, a cafe, and wine and cheese shop within reasonable walking distance.
The village is on a sustrans cycle route.
The Dart estuary must be one of the prettiest ones in this country, there are plenty of sights to see on or close to it.
There are good beaches not to far away.
You may borrow our bicycles.

We are a semi retired couple. I am a physiotherapist and my husband used to farm sheep. We have 4 children (all flown the nest). We love the outdoors and good food.
