I have the pleasure of writing the very first review of Ático "El Quijote" located in Zahara de los Atunes where we spent 5 nights in mid-October.
First a word on the host(s) - José María, his wife, his daughter and his son were very helpful during our stay. Anytime we needed help (an additional blanket, an umbrella, fixing wi-fi, etc.) their response was swift and fully satisfying our needs. Caldad, José María's daughter, was especially helpful thanks to her knowledge of English (we do not (yet) speak Spanish unfortunately) and positive attitude. Our hosts also run a hotel and very good restaurant located by the beach.
On to the apartment - I was somewhat sceptical of going to a place without a single review and having spent 5 nights there I wonder why more people have not yet commented / visited this great place!
The place is located approx. 200m away from the beach / center, right next to the mercado and a very well-stocked small supermarket (better than Zahara's Dia IMO). It is not overwhelmingly large (but still with 2 bedrooms, a living room/open kitchen, bathroom and large terrace), but the apartment was very clean, well furnished and equipped. It is both very cosy and organized, with a clear and sensible approach to furnishing - the usage of space is optimal or close to it. As mentioned above, the terrace is large and very enjoyable, with a nice side-view of the ocean. The apartment has also a very nice bathroom (which deserves to be shown on the pictures!) and a small patio.
Similarly to the village itself, we loved it and will certainly come back for another visit. Wholeheartedly recommended!
