Everything was great and as advertised. Very comfortable & quiet place to stay in Cusco, with wifi good enough to take video calls for work.

Cusi Wasi is a nice, comfortable pied a terre to use as a base to explore Cusco and the many wonders in the surrounding area. Management and service personnel are all very nice and helpful. The breakfast is freshly-baked bread, eggs (fried or scrambled) and excellent coffee. Conveniently, Cusi Wasi also has an active tour service, so booking one of their many tours is very easy. Like all but the highest-end lodgings in Cusco, Cusi Wasi has no central heating, so it can get cold. The beds are very comfortable and have enough blankets to make a good night's sleep dead easy. Unfortunately, my trip to Cusco was for business and I needed a room large enough to allow me to work on my laptop with various documents. The room I rented was not large enough for me to work anywhere other than sitting on the bed, so I had to cut my visit short to move to larger accommodations. Management was very understanding and refunded the cost of the nights I would not be there. WiFi was not working the Sunday I arrived, but that got fixed Monday morning when the ISP was back at work. After that, the Internet connection was fast and reliable. Cusi Wasi is about four blocks from the San Pedro Market and 8 - 10 blocks from Plaza de Armas. It's downhill to both from Cusi Wasi and uphill back to the B&B. Cusco streets can be very steep, so most people probably wouldn't want to walk the roundtrip more than once a day, if at all. And the area around Plaza de Armas is often blocked off for one celebration or another. One way a taxi between Cusi Wasi and Plaza de Armas would cost less than US$1, so that's always an option. However, the city wasn't build for modern traffic, so be prepared to sit in a bit of traffic if you are traveling anywhere within the central part of the city by taxi during most of the day.
