This place is amazing, secluded, beautiful, and fun!!!! We had plans for our whole day on orcas to go sightseeing and do the nightlife in town , but quickly after arriving Friday decided we were staying at the yurt majority of the weekend! It’s truly a special place! Make sure to try and hike up to the old school hot tub on the mountain!

This yurt is in a beautiful, secluded location that offers unparalleled peace and stillness. We came right as things were about to turn to fall and absolutely loved cozying up with the fire while the rain fell outside. I don't think the pictures of the area do it (URL HIDDEN) a truly idyllic setting! The drive off the main road did leave me wondering just what we were getting ourselves into...but don't let that put you off! You have to go off the beaten path to find a setting like this one.

The yurt is more spacious than we expected and definitely cozy! Views are great too! They had the wood stove going when we arrived:) The drive up is up a steep grade and feels pretty far out in the woods. Very remote feeling. Overall a great place for those who want to get off the grid in their stay on Orcas. Moran state park was our favorite!

What an incredible experience! Beautiful view of the ocean, sound of owls at night, and a very serene and private location. Philip was very friendly and easy to reach, and he brought us Amy's amazing homemade bread. The yurt was very spacious, clean and well decorated. There was a nice outdoor camping stove and kitchen area, fire pit, compost toilet, and solar shower for a great no thrills comfort camping/yurting experience. I recommend arriving during the day time for your first visit because I could see it being hard to find at night if you didn't know exactly where you were going. I definitely hope to visit again!

Highly recommend this sweet little yurt if you're looking for some peace and quiet (and comfort) off the grid! My boyfriend and I live in Seattle and loved disconnecting here for a couple of nights. Philip and Amy are amazing hosts - we really enjoyed meeting them and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

The view from the yurt was amazing. The location, in its remote serenity, is amazing; it is a beautiful spot to relax and regroup. Highly recommend to those with a spirit of adventure who are looking for a place off the beaten path.

What an awesome experience! My husband and I loved having our dinner at the picnic table, taking in the view. There's a great little hike from camp with a beautiful look-out. Also, easy access to Moran State Park and the Doe Bay resort. I wouldn't advise arriving after dark for your initial check-in, if you can avoid it. We got a little lost in broad daylight. And, our full-size sedan did just fine on the road up, but there had been no rain in months. Ann and Phillip were responsive and helpful and welcomed us with warm rolls and butter! Loved our visit to Orcas Island!!
