We are empty-nesters with a big house for just the two of us and our crazy, big red dogs (Irish Setters), Conor & Cayleigh. We love living in Colorado where we're just minutes from hiking trails, beautiful parks, and more things to do than you could possibly imagine. We have three grown kids and a grandson who loves to play baseball. We both enjoy sports and the basement family room is even sports themed. Mark is a communications project manager here in town and Jodi is an architect and works from home. Conor's responsibilities include ensuring squirrels do not enter the yard and letting us know when the doorbell rings. Cayleigh just turned a year old and is still figuring out her responsibilities.
Our hosting style is pretty laid back and casual for the most part. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our knowledge of things to do in the Pikes Peak region. We've lived here for many years and can help plan your visit if you like. However, feel free to do your own thing as well. After a long day of site-seeing, you may end up waving as you head downstairs for some much needed sleep. It's really up to you.
When traveling, we like to explore and visit places we've never been to before. Some of the places we've visited include Santa Fe, NM, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Charleston, Southern California, Yucatan Peninsula, Washington, D.C., Germany, Hawaii, and more. The list of places we have not been to is extensive. We're hoping to use Airbnb to make that list shorter.
We enjoy meeting new people, whether traveling or hosting. We hope to make your acquaintance some day.
