This is a studio apartment with a loft and terrace and 2 bathrooms. It also has a small functional kitchenette. It is dormitory style and does NOT have separated bedrooms. However there is a floor to ceiling curtain in the loft that can be drawn across to create a private bedroom. It has an open and bright floor plan with 3 sleeping areas:

Additionally there are 2 single sofa beds if required.

It has a large floor to ceiling window which overlooks the beautiful goan countryside and green fields where you can view all kinds of birds and the occasional peacock with its beautiful flared feathers. The cosy loft above overlooks the living area and has a large window with tranquil views. The large thick curtain can be drawn across the room to create an enclosed bedroom for additional privacy. This extends to the small terrace which is a perfect place to take your morning coffee while heralding a gorgeous sunrise or sip an evening cocktail while witnessing a spectacular sunset.

Our guests are required to convert the sofas into beds for sleeping as required. Linens and towels are provided and changed every 3 days. If additional changes are required this can be arranged for a nominal charge.

There is no elevator in the building and involves climbing 3 flights of stairs so may not be suitable for the elderly and infirm.

Firstly the price during NYE week was outrageous for the type of apartment on offer, especially as we were charged almost £1000 for the week. Location: Yes its close to Baga beach, but now we have been to Goa, I wouldn't recommend staying on Baga beach unless you want to be close to a really loud beach with 1000 of Indian men in there under pants, some of whom walk around swinging their pinky fingers whilst walking past…. the least relaxing beach in Goa. Stay somewhere else like Candolim, Anjuna, Ashvem and just visit Baga. Apartment: The apartment complex is nothing at all like the description in the advertisement. The complex is not new or nice, its run down and not well maintained. The room is also on the top floor (5 flights of stairs) with no elevator, so if you are traveling with someone with difficulties this is definitely not the place to stay. The views in the add say its beautiful etc etc, in reality it is a view of piles of rubbish in an overgrown swamp, where if you open a window a load of mosquitoes will come into the apartment. The apartment is definitely not fit for 8 people, putting this is in the advert is beyond a joke. In reality what you have are 3 double futons and two single futons (all of which are cheap, uncomfortable and certainly have fleas). The maid also puts the futons away each day, so when you come back after a night out the last thing you want to do is make a futon. Hot water in the advert is a complete joke, yes the water is hot in the shower for 12 seconds….. the shower had no pressure, i could only compare it to a leaky tap… In summary, if you would like to come all the way to Goa and stay in a hard to get to, run down, mosquito pit, leaky tap showers with no wifi for nearly a £1000 for one week, stay in Dominic's apartment. My opinion, keep looking elsewhere, this is not the place to stay and will put a dampener on your holiday, Dominic has just done everything as cheap as possible and thinks its acceptable.

The apartment was as described and Mrs Lobo was lovely. Had a great time. I only wish the apartment block had an elevator.

Let me start by saying that this is one of the very few places listed online that actually lives up to its snapshots posted by the hosts. Although nestled in the busy streets of Baga, it is tucked away in a corner of the Beiramar Resort and hence is devoid of the cacophony of noises usually associated with the Calangute-Baga road. Just a stone's throw away from Baga beach and the famous Tito's lane, you just couldn't have a more central location. As you walk out the resort, there are enough cab hire/car rental personnel who throng the road, and so, transport too, is never an issue. Coming to the room itself, the view from the windows in the morning is just spectacular (as seen in the pictures). There is also an attached balcony that one could use to have their morning tea/coffee on, which is perfect for the chilly season between Nov-Jan. The room consists of all sofa-cum-beds which can easily fit 5 at any point of time. The loft above consists of another 3, bringing the total to 8. Although they may not be the most comfortable beds to sleep in, as a group of cousins between ages 18-27, we faced no issues. The only con would be having to make your own beds every night, which is one luxury that you'd have in a hotel room. Turning to the bathrooms, I can safely say they are one of the better maintained ones that I've seen in my 5 trips to different places in Goa. The fittings all looked quite new and were fully functional during our stay. However, tall & bulky people may have some difficulties in using the bathrooms, which have been made very optimally without taking up any additional space. Looking at the kitchen, it has all the essentials needed to have breakfast (tea/coffee, baked beans on toast, cereal) but for people who would like to cook meals, too few utensils are provided. Then again, this is rarely the case when on a holiday in Goa and I haven't considered this in my rating. The UPS/generator was a life saver! Every time there was a power cut in the area, we still had our lights on for a good 2 to 3 hours until the power was restored. Really thankful for that. Both the pools were nice and clean (though small). Hadn't tried the restaurant, so can't comment there. Lastly, a few criticisms: 1. It is of my opinion that every place in Goa needs to provide its patrons with a safe/lock-box. This is missing in the room. 2. The number of utensils could definitely be increased to include extra cutlery, cereal bowls and additional plates & glasses to accommodate 8. (Bowls, butter knives were missing during our stay) 3. It would be nice if you could install an intercom facility with the reception in case we have any queries/suggestions/complaints, so that we don't disturb Mrs. Lobo, who was a pleasure to talk to!
