There were no instructions about check in or check out during initial booking of trip; and no info about check out when we checked in. There was no information about lack of A/C in apartment; A/C was only available in the living room ; WiFi password was wrong, so we needed to contact the host for correct one. The host was on the way out to another trip during check-in, and could only spend 5 minutes providing information about accommodations. After we arrived at the apartment, there was no further communication regarding check out procedures.
The carpets were absolutely disgusting, stained with what appeared to be animal waste, human fluids, spilled coffee/food, and/or other matter; carpets were also bunched up in places.
We had 2 children with us who had to sleep on mattresses on the floor due to lack of A/C in their room, and it was awful having the sleep on top of these carpets; my pillow cover had a small blood stain on it; bathroom had peeling ceilings; kitchen floor was sticky and stove not very clean.
We arrived in July during hot, humid weather; the host had someone install the A/C in the main bedroom on the second day we were there, while we were gone.
The apartment furniture was in a dilapidated condition.
We could have rented a 3 star hotel nearby for the same price; this was the worst rental i've ever had under any circumstances, given the money i paid.
