If you want a homely feel with someone to take care of your needs, this is the place! We (me and my mother) stayed only for a day during Pushkar Fair, but it was worth the money. The family was very welcoming, flexible checkin and checkout time, good enough rooms with blankets (brrr..climate was cold) etc. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit Pushkar!

We stayed for a month. It is very much a home stay, not hotel, and while we actually prefer home stays this was very intense and a little uncomfortable. I feel terrible writing a bad review but would feel worse to not warn others. It's a 2-3 km walk into town but Shiva (owner) will try to disuade you from going in town as they want you to spend your money here. The food is fine but expensive. It'd be fine to stay here for a night or two but there's so much better available. If we didn't have the discount of 70% due to staying for a month we wouldn't have stuck it out. We ended up staying in town for 200 rupee a night between us the last few nights so my advice would be to look somewhere else- there are plenty of options! It really depends what you are after- if you want a home stay and to spend the whole time with Shiva/the family then go for it - he'll take good care of you but if you want to explore the town itself and make good friends then go somewhere else. The son, Mukesh was actually fantastic and we had really nice conversations with him - liked him a lot.

Shiva is very warm welcoming host, and so nice! He will help you with anything you need during the stay. I have very good time exchanging conversation with him deeply also. The place is not too far away from the main market, walking would take around 20-30 minutes. It's about nature, and gathering together here if you decide to stay at this place.
