This totally charming two-bedroom apartment is a perfect balance of old and new. Steps from the metro, amenities and the Jean-Talon Market, it's located in a quiet, old-school Montreal neighourhood with character. Bonus: it has a small garden.
This two-bedroom apartment has been renovated with care but is still a work in progress. The house has the original mouldings, hardwood floors as well as the furnace grate (watch your toes!) but the bathroom and kitchen have been renovated. It's a typical Montreal apartment with a bit of a twist.
The apartment has both a large, master bedroom and a smaller child's room which is outfitted with a hidden double bed, so the room easily converts into a child-free zone if needed.
For parents traveling with young children, we have a crib and change table available and the second bedroom is all ready set up for playtime.
Zugang für Gäste
Guests are welcome to use the entire first floor of the apartment as well as the private garden.
The apartment also has a basement but guest access is limited to the washing machine and the ironing board/iron.
The stairs are steep so please use caution when descending/ascending.
The garage is also off-limits.

We'll be travelling while you're travelling but will be there to greet you and show you around. We also have family who live close by and will be your point of contact in case of an emergency.

Though the neighbourhood is pretty family oriented, it's perfectly fine to have a night out in the garden, though we recommend turning down the volume by 11 p.m. in ordinance with the local by-law.
We like our stuff and appreciate guests who treat our place as they'd want theirs to be treated.
Unfortunately, this is a no dog household. There's also no smoking indoors -- feel free to puff away in the garden.
The scene in Wayne's World where they lie on the roof of the car watching planes land? That was me as a kid. I was lucky enough to grow up in a house hold where travelling was just part of life.
Now that I have my own small family, it's important for me to experience the world with them and to share the awesomeness of travelling and discovery.
I've lived in Montreal for the last 15 years and like the place so much, I've written books about it.
