I'm born and raised in Montreal and have found my dream apartment in the lower plateau. Eat, drink and be merry in the heart of MTL, or simply watch the world go by from the balcony on a hot summer day.
Stay here only if you want to live in Montreal like a local. The other tenants have lived in Montreal for years and include an expat American, Torontonian and a Frenchman.
The building is almost stereotypically Montreal. Built in 1915, it has been the backdrop for poets and writers for whom the plateau is famous for. Emile Nelligan, Gaston Miron, Léonard Cohen and the Arcade Fire. You'll meet all kinds of characters at the nearby 'dépanneur'. Finally, the two story mural on our wall is a beautiful example of the art which has recently become typical of the south Plateau.
