We enjoyed staying at Maria's apartment (managed by Angela, who met us for check in). Checking in was easy - we messaged through the airbnb app as we left the Plaza de Armas bus station and said "hey, we'll be there in 15-30 minutes". Angela was there to bus us in and gave us a quick tour of the place. The location - it's well situated near the center of town. It's right on Alameda de Hercules Plaza, so you have plenty of restaurants right around you (including several right below or right across the street). There's a small "Dia Fresh" grocery market for the basics within a block and another larger grocery 5 minutes away. Transit was okay in this location - there's a small circulator bus that passes by every 30 minutes during the weekdays but it's on a schedule (4 minutes past the hour and 34 minutes past the hour) and it was timely once we figured out the time points. It takes you to the tourist destinations in the center of the historic part of town. Connecting to the airport bus took another bus and a transfer, but it was quick (under an hour total from apartment to airport). The apartment - First I'll mention the windows. They are great! We could look out over the plaza and even saw a parade / march while we were there. I thought it would be noisy but the windows are new and modern and kept out the noise EXTREMELY well, so being on a plaza with some nightlife wasn't bad at all. It was nice to watch the people from the balcony and enjoy a meal with a view. The rest of the apartment was good too. The kitchen came with cooktop, microwave, decent size fridge, and plenty of plates, cups, saucers, bowls, and silverware for our family. There's even a french press coffee maker if you want to enjoy a cup a joe in the apartment (and someone left a bag of good coffee, so I did exactly that!). Kitchen was perfectly clean - dishes, counter, floor, everything was spotless. Washer and dryer in kitchen worked well. The bathroom was very spacious and worked well. No problems with hot water (and we have 3 ladies showering and washing hair). Good water pressure. Bath soap/shower gel and shampoo/conditioner not provided (but cheap at the grocery store nearby). Plenty of towels and Angela offered to bring more if we needed them (and you can always wash/dry a load in the apartment). Bedrooms were okay - beds about average and it was hot on our first night (but the air conditioning cooled the place down by our second day). Seville was having a heat wave with temperature of (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)C??) so all things considered it wasn't too bad. Nights 2-4 of our stay were comfortable. There is a ceiling fan in each room and a powerful floor fan too. Living room - great! Comfortable couch with a love seat next...
