This sunny apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom with lounge/dining room and fully equipped galley style kitchen. Second bedroom has a new sofa bed lounge for relaxing or sleeping. Washing machine is in kitchen and drying either outside or inside using dryer. The hifi can be tuned to radios around the world. A red book in kitchen drawer has all the manuals on how to use TV, hifi, washing machine, nespresso machine and kitchen appliances. Residents are respectful and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of our art deco building located on Manly's eastern hill.

Entrance is from Darley road through a common area garden. There is a walled courtyard for air drying washing or alternative is a large Maytag dryer in small laundry off stairwell. It needs a $1 dollar coin to dry a large load in 20 minutes. Garbage to be taken to garbage room on lowest level where colour coded bins are stored for recycling of papers, bottles and rubbish. Windows in apartment are high above the ground and can safely be left open unless it rains.

Best and cheapest way to Manly from airport is to catch train from airport to Circular Quay and switch to Manly Ferry for 30 minute ride across the harbour, past the Harbour Bridge and Opera House to Manly. Taxi rank across the road or walk seven minutes up Darley road to apartment on corner of Darley and Addison Road. Across the road and few doors along is a great restaurant that specialises in takeaways (duck and eggplant dishes) and next door is a grocery store with essentials open until 7.30pm every day. Supermarkets are five minutes walk away including Aldi at the wharf and two Coles stores.
I work overseas for some months and spend time in country side outside Sydney. I prefer to let apartment during these times and for longer periods rather than short. I have a handy man nearby to assist with the apartment in unlikely event of a problem. Its not a noisy building as neighbours very respectful. I love the location as beaches and harbour minutes away and short walk to restaurants, bars and shops. November and December or January are best months for holiday in Manly so Im flexible but prefer to let for two weeks or longer.
