Welcome to the West Ferrisburgh Guest House. We are a 45 minute drive south of Burlington Vermont. You are currently viewing the Buttercup Room (Room #4). This is one of four rooms available to our guests. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.
The Buttercup room has a full size bed and accommodates up to two persons.

Guests have access to three dining/sitting areas, including a Tea Room all on the first floor. Two first floor covered front porches have views of the Green Mountains. A large deck off the second floor with views of the ridge, field and horses. There are four guest rooms upstairs, and two full bathrooms available to guests, one on each floor.

Our guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast consisting of choices of coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, cereals, breads and a variety of jams. There is a small refrigerator and microwave oven for guest use. Our Guest House is fully licensed by the State Of Vermont Departments of Health, Fire and Safety. Our home is six miles from the center of Vergennes.
Please note that our home is not suitable for pets. However, under the Fair Housing Act (FHAct), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the American with Disabilities Act (ACA): FHEO-2013-01 we are required to accommodate service animals. We want to ensure a healthy and enjoyable stay for all guests. The Guest House has shared spaces. Transparency and open communication is helpful. Regarding assistance/service animals, The West Ferrisburgh Guest House has the right to ask the following two legal questions:
1) Is the service animal required because of a disability?
2) What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?
ADA also applies to people with Asthma and Allergies. Please note that we do have animals on the property. We have horses and a small dog. The dog does not have access to any section of the Guest House and does not interact with our guests. We work hard to keep our home free of allergy producing situations.
We are available for as much or as little interaction as our guests desire.
