I invite you to rent a newly renovated flat in a stylish, historic building in the absolute city centre. Living here is like living in the Times Square of Warsaw! The flat is located within a 2-minute walk to the METRO CENTRUM tube station, a 7-minute walk to the Warszawa Centralna train station, and a 3-minute walk to the Palace of Culture. This is the busiest, most iconic intersection in Warsaw and in Poland: this is as central as it gets. The 3rd person for free.
The flat is freshly renovated with one double bed (located in the main room) and one single bed (located in a sleeping alcove that has been adapted from an original small entryway hallway, situated right as you set your foot into the flat). There is a door between this alcove and the rest of the flat that consists of the main room (sleeping/living/dining), a galley kitchen, and a bathroom, so a relatively small space gives you maximum privacy. The flat is ideal for 2 people, but it can also work nicely for 3 travelers.
The flat is located in a classic pre-war Warsaw building that has an amazing history: it is one of very few buildings in the city centre to be partially preserved during World War II, during which the city was almost completely destroyed. After 1945 the large pre-war flats were haphazardly divided by the communist party into smaller units, which explains the slightly odd (or, idiosyncratic, shall we say?) floorplans. The floorplan of the flat, which you can find at the Photos section, shows how the space is arranged in this particular flat: the original entryway functions as a separate sleeping alcove, with a door separating it from the main part of the flat.
The flat has a large window overlooking the Aleje Jerozolimskie street, which is Warsaw's main thoroughfare, essentially connecting the historical part of Warsaw (the Royal Route comprised mainly of the Nowy Swiat and Krakowskie Przedmiescie streets), and the southern part of the city where the Okecie airport is located. The single large window makes the flat bright and also invites you to watch Warsaw's premier street; it's your "window into Warsaw."
The flat's main room is comprised of the aforementioned double bed, a large rectangular table with four chairs, shelving, and a garment rack. There is quite a bit of floor space for storing suitcases, shopping, etc., considering that this is a smallish flat in a prime real estate spot. The cosy sleeping alcove offers a single bed and a bedside table, and a nice option to close the door behind you. The kitchen if fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, and coffee and a variety of teas for your use. The building next door houses a small but well-stocked grocery shop; otherwise the whole street and neighborhood are packed with every manner of shopping, including a huge department store complex at the crossroads of Aleje Jerozolimskie and Marszalkowska, which also houses a supermarket in the basement. The only thing the kitchen does not have is a sink, which is located in the bathroom, right by the kitchen. In other words, the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink are one and the same entity. The sink is big and clean, and the arrangement works amazingly well. The bathroom also has a toilet and a small bathtub with a shower. Abundant clean towels, as well as shampoos, soaps, etc., will await you.
There is a blue folder in the flat, which gives you all the basic information about the flat and the city of Warsaw. There is also a map of Warsaw that you are welcome to use.

I can either meet you there or give you detailed, easy-to-follow instructions about arrival and departure. The building is easy to find and well-marked, and the lift is a very nice feature, so you don't have to carry your luggage upstairs.
