This delightful two bedroomed apartment is situated in the centre of Uppingham with everything within walking distance. One double room, one twin room, lounge, bathroom and fully fitted kitchen. Parking space for one car and WIFI. Fully equipped.

Zugang für Gäste

Access to Apartment 2 is at the rear of the property in the car park, to the left of the building. There is a key box to the right hand side of the door. Key code will be made available following booking confirmation.
Check in is from 2pm - an earlier time may be possible with prior arrangement. Please ensure that you leave the key in the key box on your departure

Groceries
If you leave the apartment – opposite at the cross-roads is a garage which sells milk and a small selection of groceries. If you take a left at the crossroads, a 5 minute walk will take you to a small Co-op supermarket, which sells everything which you would need. It is open 7 days a week – 6am until 11pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

Places to eat
Leaving the apartment and going right – over the crossroads and take the first left – you will arrive in the Market Square. Free parking here for one hour only.
In the Market Square, to your left is the Falcon Hotel – beautiful and recently re-furbished. Also in the Market Square you have Don Paddy’s Bistro & Wine Bar and The Vaults – a traditional public house.
In the Vaults you can eat upstairs overlooking the Market Square.
There is a lovely café called Coppergate to the left of the Falcon, and further along the main street is the Lake Isle, a little more expensive, but excellent dining.
Between the garage and the Co-op Supermarket is a wonderful Chinese restaurant / takeaway called Choi’s, and next door to Choi’s is the Silver Fish Bar for great fish and chips.
Opposite the apartment is Zorbas for takeaway pizza.
There is an Indian Restaurant called Red India on Stockerston Road – take the first right after the crossroads – and you will see it in front of you to the right at the end of the road.

Pharmacy & Post Office
The Post Office is situated in the Market Square.
There are 2 pharmacies in Uppingham – there is Ashdale Pharmacy next to the Post Office in the Market Square and Boots the Chemist further down on the High Street.

ATM / Bank
There is a cash dispenser in the corner of the Market Place, just opposite Coppergate.
A Barclays bank with an ATM is situated on High Street West – leaving the apartment, take a right – over the crossroads and next right and it’s on your left hand side.

Bins
There are 3 large bins in the car park – the green is for garden waste, the grey for re-cycling and the black for any other waste.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available in the apartment – you will find the password in a frame in the living room next to the television.
Heating / Hot Water
The boiler is set to come on twice a day on a timer. Please use the thermostat in the hall - the dial turns to increase or decrease the temperature.
If you need to run the heating / water on at any other time, please advance the timer in the kitchen (advance / over-ride) but do not re-set!
Dishwasher / Convection Hob
Instructions for the Dishwasher and the operation of the Hob are in the kitchen – 3rd drawer down. There is also a set of oven gloves and a torch in that drawer should you need them.
First Aid Kit
The first aid kit is located on the top shelf in the kitchen cupboard.
Fire Extinguisher / Fire Blanket / Monoxide Detector
There is a fire extinguisher in the small pull-out cupboard next to the tall larder cupboard in the kitchen, and a fire blanket behind the kitchen door. The carbon monoxide detector is above the kitchen door – should this alarm activate, please contact us as soon as possible and open the window in the kitchen.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very well-equipped. The location was great and the communication was quick and comprehensive. We most appreciated that so many basic essentials were provided and that we did not have to go out and buy such things as tea, soap and dishwashing liquid it was all provided as well as plenty more. Thank you for a seamless stay.

A lovely period apartment fully equipped with parking just behind the apartment, set in an idyllic location perfect for us as our son & his friend spent the entire weekend at corby adrenaline alley bmx/skate park & we spent the entire time absorbing the stunning local area, looking to return next month. Couldn’t wish for a better host with Ananda, thankyou Steve & Tracy

In the past two weeks, we've enjoyed so much in Amanda and Mark's apartment! The apartment is so nice and warm, and we really feel like at home. The couple are so kind and supportive. As the two mother with three kids, this is our first oversea summer school, they helped a lot in our daily staying. The couple guided us the Uppingham town, supported the back and forth to the train stations, and even helped to order pizza. Kids like them so much! In the last evening during stay, we invited Amanda and Mark for a wonderful local dinner. So pleased to stay there. We definitely will come again!

The apartment is in a great situation very close to the centre of Uppingham, within a very short walk of all the amenities. The kitchen is well equipped and it is wonderful to have a private parking space. Amanda and Mark were both very accommodating, meeting up with us in advance of our stay, and dropping a second key off while we were there. Everything was very easy. Thank you both very much.
