I had the pleasure of staying in the Queen-size Room. It was spacious and charming. The attached bathroom was beautifully decorated, as was the bedroom. The decor around the whole house had a rich history. Michele and Paul have done an amazing job. Their kitchen was stocked for breakfast and everything was easily accessible. My boyfriend and I loved our stay here. It is very conveniently located relative to Pittsburgh. Nothing is too far away. Staying here is definitely recommended!!

This mansion was like a museum itself! Unbelievable! Enjoyed a visit from Munchkin (the cat) and our host and hostess were very nice! Enjoyed rocking on the porch and watching the deer! Amazing decor throughout the home❤️

Staying at Michele's place is a wonderful experience! Michele and Paul were great hosts, providing coffee, breakfast, and additional goodies. If you like art, architecture, workmanship, and history this is the place! It's also an easy drive to the Frick and Carnegie Institute. Everything was clean and comfortable. A nice stay all around.

Don't let the neighborhood deter you. There is a beautiful renovation going on in this home. We really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you so much.

I only have great things to say about my boyfriend (Jake) and I's stay at Mallenwood on our weekend trip to Pittsburgh! Michele was amazing with directions and communication- we found the place with exceptional ease. Even though we were early for check-in (we are never early for anything so that was odd for us) she was professional and accommodating. Paul (he is the onsite host) was absolutely positively awesome! He was a blast to talk to and made us feel so warm and welcome. He gave us delicious homemade baked goods- chocolate chip cookies AND banana bread! His taste in home decor is nothing short of incredible: there was a crazy cool antique or gorgeous work of art to admire at every turn. And let's talk about the Gothic architecture of Mallenwood-- ohhhhhh my gosh is it gorgeous! I am so excited that the mansion is getting the love and care it deserves. I must make mention of Munchkin- he's the coolest cat I know. He is a sweet furry angel that ran up to Jake and I to say goodbye as we were heading out on the town for the evening. We cannot wait to go back to the mansion! I highly recommend Mallenwood Manor for your stay in Pittsburgh.
