Peace & quiet in our Adobe Hacienda. Walled & gated 5 acre property that feels like a romantic country estate in Tuscany. Minutes to Santa Fe Plaza & Santa Fe Opera, Pueblos! Elegant 4 poster King bed above private sitting room/library. Lucky You!

Adobe two room suite, library/sitting room with king size bedroom space above, comfortably & stylishly furnished with views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Fluffy down duvet and luxurious, high thread count cotton sheets. Separate detached full bath with tiled tub/shower and folk art retablos. Great place to relax when you return from a day exploring Santa Fe, nearby Pueblos, hiking up the Windsor Trail, dining out and shopping.

You will have some beautiful acreage along the Tesuque River to explore (and the Windsor Trail is nearby). Or, after a full day of Santa Fe pleasures ~ spend your time reading & relaxing in front of the kiva fireplace in the cool months or in the hammock on the portal in the Summer and Fall. Our delightful Spanish colonial kitchen is available as long as you keep it tidy. In cooler weather you may elect to stay cozy by the fireplace in our Sala furnished with Colonial art & furniture.

We have loved living in Santa Fe for 40 years and can recommend our favorite restaurants as well as offer suggestions and maps. Our personal style is friendly and respectful. We hope you will feel at home.
*Note we may make available upon occasion another bedroom with ensuite bath. Please ask about it. Suitable for 1 person.

Tesuque is one of Santa Fe's most desired neighborhoods. Country and pastoral setting with 150 year old orchard...Quiet and peaceful yet minutes from all the festivities at the famous Santa Fe Plaza.
~Our home is just around the corner from a locals favorite: The Tesuque Village Market.
~Next door to Glenn Green Gallery and Sculpture garden.
~Just a few minutes walk from Shidoni Foundry, Art and Sculpture garden.
~*10 minutes to Santa Fe Plaza.
~Minutes to the Santa Fe International Opera in the summer (also the Santa Fe Flea Market) and an EASY commute to Santa Fe Ski in the winter.
~15 minutes up the mountain to Ten Thousand Waves hot tubs, spa and Japanese restaurant.

Other well known and near by attractions include the fabulous museums (and lunch room) on Museum Hill, Ten Thousand Waves, the Santa Fe ski basin, Dale Ball hiking trails, the river walk and Canyon Road.

Some of our favorite restaurants are: Clafoutis French Bistro, Fire and Hops Gastro Pub, Cafe Pasquale’s, The Shed, Pizzeria da Lino, La Boca Tapas, Shohko and The Beestro. Sprouts & Albertson's grocery stores, CVS pharmacy and the De Vargas movie theatre are a short drive away. Take a drive (12 min) to The Farmers Market on Tues & Sat, La Montanita Co-op and Whole Foods for organic and locally sustainable food.

For family fun, there's Fort Marcy complex and park. They have a playground, a ball field, a swimming pool, a gym and exercises classes. Other popular swimming pool/community centers are the Bicentennial, Genoveva Chavez and Salvador Perez. Also, check out the Santa Fe Children's Museum and for child related activities in Santa Fe.

The RailYard near downtown, on Guadalupe St., is host to the Farmers Market, many restaurants (2nd Street Brewery, Tomasitas etc), retail stores (REI), the RailRunner train and live concerts during the summer time. Also, check out our brand new Violet Crowne movie theatre. They serve food and adult beverages that can be consumed during the movie.

One hour from Taos, NM. 45 minutes from Ojo Caliente Mineral Hot Springs and O'Keefe country.

Convenient to the road to Santa Fe Ski/Artist Road as well as the plaza. Desirable quiet safe neighborhood on country estate. Very short walk to a local favorite The Tesuque Village Market (a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner) which is just around the corner. Hiking trails nearby. You will need a car to get you to all the great activities, galleries and fabulous restaurants in Santa Fe. Ancient Pueblos nearby.
