Staying in this lovely old listed coach house will be a real delight for you. Fantastic original features combine with a cool modern living space in a quiet back road, assuring you a harmonious stay within walking distance of the many amenities.
This is a beautiful original coach house dating back to 1835 and has been lovingly restored into comfortable living accommodation at the end of my garden. Original features include cobble stone floor, wooden stabling and steps to the loft that would have been a hay store where the stable lad lived. It is the only remaining original Coach House in the Terrace.

You will have the loft space to yourself with plenty of room to prepare food and look out over my garden. There is a new double bed / sofa bed with new bedding. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LOFT STEPS ARE STEEPER THAN STAIRS AND NOT SUITABLE IF YOU HAVE ANY MOBILITY PROBLEMS. At the top of the steps is a door which is also the floor, this means there is an open space if you choose not to close the door down when you are in the loft. There is a retractable 'gate' as well but you can only open and close the door when the space is open, please look at the photo where this is clearly shown. The Coach House was Spot Listed by English Heritage who were delighted with the original cobbles and drains, this means that the floor downstairs is UNEVEN.

I am a Special Needs teacher working part-time at a local school. Originally I taught English, so I like reading when I get the time, usually in the holidays. I like the theatre and visiting art galleries, I go to London fairly frequently.
My house is shared with lodgers who have been here between 5-10 years so I am used to the benefits of independent living with sociability!
I have been too busy organising my home to do much traveling recently, but I am going to the Edinburgh Festival this year and really enjoy all the different types of performance you can see there.
I hope my guests will enjoy the privacy of the Coach House and the vibrancy of Clifton Village.
