Modern Lakefront B is the private, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, upstairs unit of a two-story duplex located on Lagunita Point in Big Bear Lake. It is less than 5 minutes to the Village and less than 10 minutes from the Ski Resorts. YES, THE HOT WATER WORKS!

Modern Lakefront Cabin B is the private, upstairs unit of a two-story cabin located on Lagunita Point. It has recently been updated with new contemporary finishes and decor and is ready for your enjoyment.

The living space features a Well-Appointed Kitchen, a Dining Table for 4 and a Comfortable Living Room with a Stone, Gas Fireplace and Flat Screen TV- The perfect place to kick back and relax after a day on the Lake, a ride through the Forest or shopping in The Village. This unit has 2 bedrooms - 1 with a comfy Queen Bed and the other has a Twin with a Trundle. A Full Bath is located close to both Guest Rooms.

Step outside to the Deck where you can enjoy a BBQ and a meal while listening to the sounds of the water lapping the shore. Be sure to watch the sunsets! Paradise!!

We ask that our guests treat the home and the neighborhood with respect, and abide by occupancy and parking limits. You will be required to sign the following Rental Agreement before your arrival:


CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES: Normal check-in time is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM. *Check-out for larger homes MAY be 10 AM if deemed necessary by RS Vacations. HOLIDAY check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM for ALL properties at the discretion of RS Vacations.

RESERVATION PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE: Expenses and items not mentioned including but not limited to: transportation, tips for personal services, meals, insurance, telephone calls and other items of a personal nature.

RESPONSIBILITY: Tenant hereby assumes all risk of damage to any and all personal property of Landlord and Tenant, including household furniture and goods during such use and occupancy. Tenant hereby assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same. PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR BOOKING STAY AND ACCEPTING PROPERTY KEYS MUST BE AT LEAST 23 YEARS OF AGE and will be required to show valid ID at Check-In.

USE: It is agreed that the premises shall be used only for residential purposes and for no other purpose whatsoever. Tenant in his possession, use and occupancy of the Premises agrees to observe and comply with all restrictions, laws and ordinances affecting the premises or occupancy thereof. Tenant further agrees that no use shall be made of the premises or acts done which will increase the existing rate of insurance upon the Premises or will cause a cancelation of any insurance policy covering the Premises. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN ANY RESIDENCE. A $350.00 fee may be charged for ionization, if smoking in the property is detected.

OCCUPANCY: By state law, occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children.

PET POLICY: Pet friendly properties are allowed to have up to two cats or dogs on the premises, unless otherwise specified. There is a non-refundable fee of $25 per pet that will be added to your reservation and charged separately before your arrival. Please contact us with any questions regarding your pets. Properties which are NOT pet friendly have been deemed so at the property owner`s discretion due to damage or allergy concerns. Guests who bring pets to a property that is NOT pet friendly will be charged a $500 fee to cover carpet and upholstery cleaning.

RELEASE OF WAIVER OF LIABILITY: Guest hereby expressly, knowingly and freely assumes all risk of liability of any kind, or for any injury of persons or damage to property of guest or any other person, from any cause whatsoever, foreseeable, or unforeseeable, resulting from the use, occupation or enjoyment of the premises by guest, guest`s invitees, dependents, charges, any person holing under guest, persons acting on guest`s behalf, and guest hereby releases and discharges the releasees (RS Vacation and Homes, LLC and the owner/s of property being occupied) from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

PROPERTY POLICIES AND GUIDELINES: Tenant has shared the IMPORTANT INFORMATION GUIDELINES (Separate email) with their entire party and agrees that they will abide by all rules including:
• respecting peace and quiet of the neighborhood per the City Code Compliance Dept. of Big Bear Lake
• respecting occupancy and parking limits per the City Code Compliance Dept. of Big Bear Lake
• respecting NO SMOKING within a residence per the City Code Compliance Dept. of Big Bear Lake
• respecting the fire and safety guidelines of not disposing of hot ashes and following proper safety precautions while having a wood fire or using charcoal grills and propane grills for cooking
• maintaining responsibility for minors and pets and their safety
• respecting departure procedures

The house was cute and the perfect size for our small group of three. The location was perfect - a 5-min drive from town and right on the water - and the large deck, albeit a bit old, offers a gorgeous view of the lake. The house was comfortable but we were disappointed by several small things that needed fixing (coffee-maker, towel rack, blinds, door handle, etc.). It's good to know that this is a property managed by a vacation rental company, as opposed to a private AirBNB home listing. The person who was supposed to help us with check-in was not very helpful and we had to go looking for the key upon arrival. However, we had a great, comfortable stay and the house was a great base for enjoying the lake.

Spectacular location! Right on the water with an amazing view. Very close to shops and restaurants too. The place was simple, but comfortable and clean. Host was a prompt communicator. Great value for price!

Great location, beautiful view, right on the lake. Our family spent 5 nights here, including a snowy New Years Eve. The unit had mostly everything we needed. For the amount of time and people, we could have used more towels. There were 3. The wall heater is in the living room. It works great but heat did not make it into the bedrooms and they remained very cold throughout our stay. This is an upstairs unit. The structure is older and the walls are very thin. We were able to hear the folks staying in the downstairs unit and knew they could hear us. We were mindful of this and made every attempt to keep our noise down. Our efforts did not matter. We continuously were subjected to banging on our floor (their ceiling) when we simply got up to walk, in our socks. This made our stay very uncomfortable and unpleasant. After all, we were on vacation. For this reason I would not stay here again. A shame because other than this, it would have been a great place. Can't beat location and view.

Wonderful view of the lake with nothing blocking the scenery. You can walk right up to it and see plenty of ducks against the incredible mountains. Fire place was a beautiful touch for the weekend getaway.  Great kitchen with all utensils. Best bed I've slept on in a while! Including the pillows. Shower is wonderfully hot. Location is next to everything that you could want to do in Big Bear regardless of season. Heater is older but working. It's very directional for the living room. Rs is very organised and very ready to help when needed. Thanks Rs!

We felt this location was exactly as described in the photos. Of course we did feel this vacation rental required some maintenance. Outlet plugs were not functioning, furniture was not sturdy, cabinet doors did not close properly, and most of the shutters were broken. Other than the above this was a great size home for our family with a great view.
