Simple and well-designed one bedroom in a quiet, private courtyard. Steps from San Francisco's most interesting street, in the culturally rich Mission neighborhood.
Small one-bedroom apartment sits in a courtyard behind street-facing house. The modern comforts and amenities you'd expect: wifi, hifi, Apple TV etc. Workable kitchen. Plenty of books in lounge-ready living room.
Two bikes you can use — a fixie and road. (Loss or damage of course is your responsibility.)
Patio includes picnic table and hanging lights; fun on warmer nights. Nice neighbors. Quiet; respite in the mix of an active, diverse, creative neighborhood.
Down the block from Wise Sons, Philz Coffee, Haus, Zoe's.. blocks away from many of the city's best bars and restauraunts. Sometimes I challenge myself to leave the neighborhood, by far my favorite in the city.
Bedroom very sunny, but the living room and kitchen can be dark in the afternoon; and on the ground-floor, can be chilly some times of year (space heaters to accommodate.)
It's a vibrant city neighborhood; sometimes there is petty crime. I've never had a problem but it's important to just be friendly and aware.
I like it!

I’m an adventurer and life-long learner. I’ve lived in seven cities across four countries but now I call San Francisco home. I lead the talented design and have a degree in Interactive Art Direction from Hyper Island in Sweden. I’ve used AirBnB for years now, as a guest and a host—you can see from my reviews that I’m a respectful guest, and I have fun too.
