Located in Logan Square, which is one of Chicago's most-desirable neighborhoods, this charming greystone apartment has been tastefully decorated by the residents who are a stylist/designer and creative director.
Amenities include: hardwood floors throughout, a bright living and dining room, large TV w/HD cable, wireless internet, forced-air heating, window-unit air conditioning in each bedroom (which cools the whole space), a full kitchen, and a communal backyard/patio with cafe bulbs, a grill, and fire-pit. It's perfect for hanging out in warmer weather and the front stoop is ideal to sit with a cocktail and watch as evening falls. There is also a free washer & dryer in-unit.
The space features a mix of antique, vintage, and new furnishings. Much of what you'll see in our apartment has been purchased on our travels throughout the US, Central America, and Europe. I am obsessed with acquiring unique furnishings and decor that has history and tells a story. We also have tons of art & design books, lots of magazines, and are always changing and adding to the art on our walls.
There are two bedrooms that are cozy, quiet, and comfortable, each able to sleep 2. There is space enough in each bedroom for kiddos to sleep on the floor or in a Pack n' Play (you must provide). Beds will be dressed in fresh, clean linens (high-thread-count sheets, down comforters) on the day of your arrival and high-quality, clean towels will be provided for in-home use. We also have beach towels for use outside the home. You must bring your own bathroom items & toiletries, but we do have a hair dryer and a curling iron available for guests.
We live on a charming, quiet street with plentiful parking (permits required for overnight parking, which we can provide). There is almost always a spot close to the apartment.
We are LGBTQ allies and are family-friendly!
Zugang für Gäste
Guests will have access to the entire apartment, EXCLUDING THE CLOSETS AND THE BAR. There is incredibly limited closet/storage space in this apartment and we have maxed them out (believe me, I wish our closets were bigger too!). However I can arrange to have a garment rack available if requested for long-term stays, or there are hooks on the back of the bedroom & bathroom doors for hanging coats and a few articles of clothing.
Interaktion mit Gästen
If we are out of town or out of the country, I will provide at least 2 in-town contacts who you can easily reach in the event of an emergency. Regardless of our location, I am always available via text & email.
Weitere wichtige Infos
The apartment is a classic Chicago-style building in great vintage condition. This means that, while it is very charming, it does come with some typical older-home quirks! The front door sticks when it's terribly humid, the heater occasionally rumbles when it turns on. These things certainly don't bother us, but if you're expecting to stay in a pristine hotel with key-card entry, well....This might not be the website for you :)

I grew up in Kentucky, lived in LA, and currently call Chicago home. I am obsessed with traveling, meeting new people, and going on adventures of all kinds with my husband and our friends.
Some of my favorite cities include Paris, Berlin, Medellin, New Orleans, and Copenhagen. Some places I am dying to visit are Morocco, Istanbul, Tokyo, and London.
I am a stylist and event producer. I love hosting, entertaining, and providing a great experience for anyone visiting my city. Other things I love: our funny dogs Bunny & Goose, flea markets & thrift shops, road trips, late nights and early mornings, photo booths, and champagne. I always say yes to fun.
