Situated on a small Scottish island called Kerrera, our chalet is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of mainland life. Take time out to reconnect with each other while exploring our beautiful island, a short ferry ride from Oban.
The chalet sits on the edge of a beautifully sheltered bay on the island of kerrera. After exploring the island during the day, enjoy sitting on the deck listening to the sea, warning your toes on the fire and enjoying the spectacular night skies that we are lucky enough to take for granted.

You will have the whole chalet and garden to make your own as we do not live on site. We just ask that you treat it like you would treat your own home.

We will collect your luggage and/or you depending on how energetic your feeling (it is a lovely 20 minute stroll from the ferry to the chalet or you can hop in with your luggage if you fancy) on your arrival and drop you off at the end of your stay. We both live on the island, Zoe is your next door neighbour and Gill is the island postie so you will see us out and about but we will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace, however if you need us we are both contactable by phone.
Weitere wichtige Infos
The island has an islanders car only policy due to the nature of our roads (you will understand once you have seen them!) so you will need to leave your car in the free car park at the ferry slip.
The nearest shop is in Oban on the mainland so stock up before you arrive.
You will need to catch the ferry, details of which can be found on (URL HIDDEN) The ferry only accepts cash.
There is a tea garden at the south end of the island which is definitely worth at least one but most probably your best lunch spot EVER! It is open from easter till mid september and again they only accept cash, there are no bank facilities on the island so come prepared!
Whatever your interests, the island has something for everyone and our chalet provides the ideal base from which to enjoy it.
Please treat our chalet and our island with respect, both are gorgeous and very precious to us. If you bring your dogs (who are very welcome) please keep them under very close control while out walking, especially through the livestock. And please keep the dogs off the furniture.
