Located in the heart of the Art Museum area, the house is just a few minutes' walk from the Art Museum and Ben Franklin Parkway, where Pope Francis will hold Sunday Mass. This gracious late Victorian row home has 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 people. The house is full of original architectural details and decor, including clawfoot tubs, antique tile, vintage kitchen and stained glass. Amenities include central air, on-site laundry and wifi.
Our three-story house has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. First floor includes a spacious living room with original tiled mantle and crystal chandelier. There is a separate dining room with etched glass doors, butler's pantry and back staircase. Vintage kitchen with built-in cabinets, brand new dishwasher and gorgeous vintage 6-burner stove and GE refrigerator. Eat-in breakfast nook and half bath off the kitchen. Outdoor space off the first floor includes a lovely, bamboo-edged backyard patio with string lights and patio table as well as a cafe table for two in the pretty, brick-lined, bamboo-filled alley.
Second floor includes an original Victorian tiled bathroom with clawfoot tub. Master bedroom has a KING bed and lovely built-in mahogany closet. The second bedroom, the "library", is a large, light-filled room with a gorgeous Victorian double bed, wall-to-wall bookshelf, built-in Eastlake cabinet, mantle and bow window looking out onto the greenery of the patio below. There is a comfortable pull-out sofa in this room which can accommodate two extra sleepers.
On the third floor is another full bath with clawfoot tub. Three bedrooms: one with a double bed, which connects by a door to another with two twin beds, and a separate bedroom down the hall with a queen bed and tufted velvet headboard.
Central AC, wifi throughout the house and a third floor laundry room with washer/dryer for your use.
This is a cat-friendly home. No cats will be at the house during your stay, but people allergic to cats may not want to stay here.

The whole house will be yours for the using, except for a small dressing room and two hall closets, which we will be using for storage. We ask that you do not use the basement except to access utilities if necessary.
