The studio a is a separate room with one single bed in a stone cottage on the southern county side of Visby. The studio has a real bed, organic percale cotton sheets, a laptop friendly desk + your own fireplace. The studio is upstairs to the left of the entrance. The entrance area has an electric mini hob (no fridge). The outhouse has a water boiler for heating water, a summer wash basin, wash cloth for freshening up (no shower). The host lives in the house next door, just a few steps away.
The cottage and it´s room is separated from the owner´s house. The Studio is ideal for recreation. The view from the Studio is a meadow, durring summer inhabited by some local cows and chickens. On the front of the cottage (the entrance) there i a small country road, a barn, open fields and the Stenkumla forest. The drinking water comes from a well (no "tap water") and is rich of minerals.

The parking space across the studio is reserved for the guest to the left of the outhouse.
For longer stays a part of the garden can be disposed, naturally only organic methods are accepted.

There is no running water. A cold water tap is available there are instructions how it works in the room. A "walk through" will be at hand. For longer stays/ depending on time of the year some services may be included that are not listed. The lifestyle is old school. Water can be boiled in the outhouse (where there is a water boiler) and a washing bowl therefore there is no shower/no tub nor taps with heated water. We try to recycle everything that is possible therefore there is no trashcan for mixed trash can on the premises except the one in the guest's room.
The studio is a place for recreation. The studio is for one person only. There is however a second separate room on the loft (extra fee) with a smaller single bed available if the guest wants to make a booking for 1 additional guest, see additional booking options in the listing and contact the host for more information.
Heating is available durring winter not durring the summer season. Do not turn on the heating without permission from the host. If used without permission an extra fee will be added so please ask first to avoid any missunderstandings.
Smoking is prohibited both inside the house and outside the property. Waste sorting is practiced, the host help you out. Organic foundations and initiatives are connected to the place should not be disturbed during their activities. It is important not to cause any disturbance to the host/neighbourhood durring sleeping hours. The towels are to stay at the house, never brought to the beach. It is prohibited to use heavy wifi/wireless equipment (streaming) on the property after 22.00. Internet/wifi can be used durring the day (office hours) just ask your host to hook you up. Cellphones and laptops are naturally accepted. These regulation are sett to protect and preserve the area´s unique fauna and birdlife as well as the property´s visitors. The photos in this listing are copyrighted and are not to be shared such as social medias, not sold or used in any form. Please don't use excess perfumes, creams or sun-oils on the bed sheets. No one else but the guest/guests that have booked the studio are to stay in the house or the property. Parties are not allowed however smaller events/studies/work groups and low key get togethers can in some cases be available but not without some planing and permission from the host. There are different fees for different occasions. As a guest you are not allowed to take photos or film of the host/the host´s visitors, the property or it´s vehicles without the hosts permission, do ask first.
