100 miles east to Yosemite, 100 miles west to the City by the Bay. On a very quiet dead-end road out of town but within walking distance. Oakdales claim to fame is "Cowboy Capital of the World" and has a PRCA Rodeo in April and a Cowboy Museum, as well. The Stanislaus river runs through it and there are several river outfitters that offer both kayaking and rafting excursions. Historic Knights Ferry is only 15 minutes from here and Modesto 20 mi. west has the Gallo Center for the Performing Arts!
The room has a new queen bed and a bank of eastern-side windows. Recommended for early risers who are intending to head up into the nearby mountains and begin their adventure early! This room also offers a keyed private entry allowing guests to come in from dinner or a late night cap w/o disturbing anyone...or slip out to admire the 'Bella Luna"
