This house overlooks Cape Point Nature Reserve and a glimpse of Scarborough Beach. Sit on the verandah and watch the sun set over the sea or take a quite walk down to the beach or make a fire outside and sit under the stars.
This is our family home and so the pictures show it in its everyday cluttered state. It will however be clutter free and clear for your stay. It is a beautiful space - sun streams into the lounge in winter. Perfect for curling up with a book all day long and if its cold, you can light a fire which will keep you cozy and warm. In summer, there's a pool to splash in between visits to the sea and if the wind is blowing (and you haven't gone kite surfing), the verandah and garden are sheltered and wind free.
Zugang für Gäste
The verandah is private and for your use only. The garden is a shared space which affords access to the neighbouring cottage. There is a fire pit for cooking or a night time fire, a chicken hok (please leave your scraps there for the chickens) and a chlorine free swimming pool.

Weitere wichtige Infos
There are still a few baboons in the village so we recommend that you keep windows and doors locked when you go out. If a baboon does come into the house and you can't chase it out, call the neighbours for help or there is an emergency number to call.
No smoking or loud parties.
We are a family of 5, living on the edge of Cape Point nature reserve. We love our wild surroundings and the opportunities it offers us. Ivan works on social development projects and part owns the village shop. Lisa is an architect and student of process oriented psychology. We have loved building and creating spaces for people to stay here in our beautiful corner of the world.
