Baltimore is a great city and we know you'll enjoy your visit here! Our 3-story home is over 110 years old, but is newly renovated with top of the line finishes. Our home is an ideal option for those coming to Baltimore to catch a game at Camden Yards or M&T Bank stadium, visting/working at the University of Maryland Hospital Center or Medical School, or attending a conference at the Convention Center.
AirBnB guests will enjoy the third floor all to themselves. The guestroom is spacious with high ceilings, a queen bed with a down comforter and heated mattress pad, and a closet to put your things away. A connecting private, sky-lit bathroom and shower is exclusively for your use. Clean linens are provided.
The only other room on the third floor is a small home office which Luke uses for his photography work.
The first floor kitchen, living, room, dining room, and half-bath are all shared community spaces. We love to cook and have a well-stocked kitchen which our guests are welcome to use. The living room has a 42" tv that you can watch on the super comfy couch. We do not have cable, but do have a Netflix subscription that guests are welcome to use.
We are located on a safe and quiet street not far from Camden Yards, M&T Bank Stadium, Federal Hill and Inner Harbor. You can walk to Inner Harbor, the Convention Center, and downtown within 15-20 minutes depending on your exact destination. You can also walk to the Federal Hill neighborhood within 15 minutes. We are a 5-8 minute walk from M&T Bank Stadium Camden Yards where you can catch the light rail to BWI airport. You can basically see the stadiums from our street corner. We are a 2 minute walk to the 36 bus which will also take you downtown if you prefer not to walk. For medical students, we are less than a 15 minute walk to the University of Maryland Baltimore and BioPark campuses.
There is plenty of parking on our block and we have 1 visitor parking pass which guests can leave on the dashboard of their car up until 12:00 pm on your check-out date (we need the pass to be available for guests who may be arriving on the same date as your departure). If you plan to stay in the city after you check-out, there is ample free unmetered parking just 3 or 4 blocks down the street from our home.
We love to travel, and truly enjoy being airbnb hosts and meeting interesting people from all over the world. We are a married couple in our late 20's. Luke is a self employed photographer, and Kim works for the state government in the public health emergency preparedness field. We love living in Baltimore and are always glad to get to share our tips and favorite spots with our guests.
