Colourful and bijou double room, with a real double bed memory foam mattress, towels and toiletries provided. Wi-Fi incl. The British Library, St Pancras and The Crick Institute is a 5 minute walk away. Camden Market is 10 minutes away and the West End is 5- 8 minutes by tube.
The area here is also known as Somers Town and it is astonishing how much history one little place in London can hold. Ask me, I know stuff :)
It is wonderfully safe, and between 5 train stations and 24 hour transport
We are an LGBT Friendly space.
The only time I will accept children is if they are under 5 months only - please do not request for me to make an exception I simply cannot as I am not equiped with any child safety features.
*** Once you have confirmed reservation - please print out the written instructions on how to get here)
The flat is compact with a kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom. The living room is spacious with Freeview TV, small balcony eclectic decor, and lots of books, and plants to make it cosy. There's also an incredibly panoramic view of the city. There's a folded dinner table that can be unfolded and used. I also provide tea and coffee, however, there is no microwave - sorry I just do not like them. In addition to being in the centre of so many stations, you can walk to Tottenham Court Road in less than fifteen minutes, twenty twenty-five and Regents Park in ten. You'll find Camden is wonderful, lively, and fabulously eccentric with over 500 restaurants and bars offering a pan-cultural gastronomic experience. Take at least half a day to walk around the canal up to the market and sample dishes in Camden Kerb Market from the 7 continents!
There is a bike hire place across the road, safe and simple to use along with all the bike lanes that are around the city.
We also have our own history here, and we are homeplace to the three first and biggest train stations in London and Europe, namely Euston, Kings Cross and St. Pancras.
We also have a certain Mr Harry Potter and platform 9 and 3/4 in Kings Cross Station which is about a 10 minute walk. And you can get to Warner Brothers Studios for the Harry Potter experience is less than an hour away from Euston which is a few minutes walk from the flat.
Old St Pancras Church is notable for many 'firsts' however it is most well known for Mary Wollstonecraft the mother of Mary Shelley ... Frankenstein anyone? But also famous for being one of the first truly vocal women to talk about equality prior to the birth of the Suffragettes.
All museums and galleries are free and you have amazingly easy access from here, shopping in Bond Street and Westfield in Stratford is a short hop away. The best part is, we have 24-hour public transport and at weekends the all night tube so you can cheerily party on until the early hours without worrying about getting home.

Weitere wichtige Infos
There is a small very friendly Korat cat that lives here, she is very clean and lives in my room. She is also hypo-allergenic. The shower is a hand held shower, not a power shower, this is mainly due to bad pressure on high rise buildings and the fact that the water pipes in London date back to the Victorian era and are about 170 years old. Bubble baths surrounded by candles of which we have plenty is the way to go especially if you have been walking around all day. This area is of great historical value to the City of London, and I am very happy to discuss it with you.
When you arrive you will find that the carpeted floor has been hoovered, and everything mopped and dusted. Like most hosts on Airbnb, I do not offer a daily 'maid-service' whilst you are here (you need to book a hotel for this service) and I absolutely expect that you clean up after yourself. However, I hope you appreciate that we are located between seven crossroads in the middle of a huge city with constant building work and road works. It will, whilst you are here accumulate dust. This is perfectly normal.
My neighbours have young families, therefore you need to be quiet and respectful when you are coming in late. You are not allowed to bring third parties onto the premises under any circumstances. I absolutely reserve the right to have you removed from these premises if you are excessively noisy and you bring third parties here. Please note that during Ramadan, there will be lots of glorious cooking smells permeating the air from 3 am.
Please ensure you thoroughly wash, dry and put away all mugs, glasses and cutlery straight after using, it is not acceptable to leave washing for 'later', or to leave tea stains, coffee stains and food stuff. You also need to clean your surfaces after using them. Whilst tea and coffee is there for you to use, and condiments like salt and pepper too, you may not use olive oil, milk or other items in the kitchen as you can purchase these. Personal items, like toothbrushes, towels, creams and shampoos need to be kept in your room.
Personal hygiene when using the toilet is just polite, please make sure plops and splashes are cleaned up. There is plenty of bleach and toilet duck. Please resist using excessive amounts of toilet paper as this will clog the toilet.
Please do not put your feet up on the couches and I would appreciate if you did not wear outside shoes in the flat.
A lot of what is written here is really about good manners amongst people who are sharing a space, please respect them.
