I often work in my home office during the day and am here to sleep at night. I'm happy to socialize or not - depending on guest preferences. I work in my room mornings until at least 10 AM, so guests have free reign of the bathroom and kitchen for a do-it-yourself breakfast. You'll have phone numbers for upstairs tenants and neighbors who will be available if I'm not.

The house is across the street from a huge park with ball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic tables. It's just a mile east of the Mississippi, across from downtown Minneapolis. Big box stores (Target, Home Depot, etc.) are five minutes away. The buses that stop at the corner make connections to almost anywhere you wish to go in the Twin Cities. Absolutely no smoking or pets here, but otherwise things are pretty flexible. Children and guests are possible (please ask first), and we expect guests to clean up after themselves and refrain from planning parties or being rowdy. If you stay out late, please come in quietly.
Friendly old lady :-) who loves company. Absolutely adore meeting so many interesting people, each with a fascinating story whatever it is. I do Internet marketing and build websites, among other things, in my office/bedroom, and have lots of crafts in the basement. When there are no guests here I sometimes use the guest room for sewing projects, but move them to the dining room when y'all arrive. I'm near lots of things you can walk to or bike to (Minneapolis has "nice ride" bikes in the park across the street), and the city bus to most places stops at the corner. Want to know more?
