Fully furnished, fully equipped for immediate occupancy. Beach front, lush outdoors, swimming pool, excellent view. Situated on a large estate, in easy reach of all the amenities of the Montego Bay resort area, and services such as supermarket, dining, beaches, shopping, hospital ... and more

Seacastles is a large property comprising blocks of apartments of different sizes. The blocks are from A to F. The land space is large with rolling lawns. A few of us do our jogging exercise around the property. The apartment in question is on the second floor (which is the top floor - Ground , first, second. Looking out from the balcony one can enjoy the beauty of the ocean (actually the Caribbean Sea). I find it a wonderful view to wake up to in the mornings, watching the rise of the sun.

The property has a large swimming pool which is available to all occupants. There is also direct access to the beach.

[Warning: Even though the balcony has protective rails, parents with small children must be warned that protection of their children in this area is their responsibility. Please understand this before booking the space]

Guests may access the swimming pool, the beach , the property. The Seacastles property adjoins the Hilton Hotel. There are several hotels within a 5-minute drive and many of them welcome non-guests for food, to their bar and shops. Montego Bay is a resort area and Seacastles is about 15 minutes from the centre of it all. This makes it very convenient for guests who are interested in water sports such as snorkling.

I make myself available to my guests as far as I can but I do live in Kingston which is about 3 hours away. My overseer (Mr Fraser) acts on my behalf. I will however be in touch by phone or email with guests as often as needed.
If guests are staying for a long period of time and need household help or just a cook this should be requested before hand.

If you like a lively beach with other holiday makers then you can try Doctor's Cave Beach. This area is called the 'hip strip' , a short distance from the airport. The Pelican Grill which is in the same vicinity, across the road from the beach, is a popular general dining spot which serves typical local dishes in addition to other foods.

Seacastles is on the main road but public transport is not convenient in Jamaica. It is recommended that guests either rent a car or use a taxi service. If you plan to move about a lot and you don't wish to rent a car then you are advised to make arrangements with a taxicab or a particular driver to take you around.
Cars can rented online (before arrival) from the international car rental agencies such as Budget. Otherwise there are many outlets at the airport to facilitate this service.
The information folder in the apartment contains information on car rental, dining, nearby facilities , supermaket and so on.

If guests require pickup from the Montego Bay airport (i.e. The Sangsters International Airport) arrangements can be made but this has to be requested before hand.


Hausregeln

Guests are expected to behave within the law.
The amenities are provided for all guests so persons are expected to respect that fact and remember that others will need to enjoy the provisions.

Note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor (ground ; 1st ; 2nd). The patio is railed as can be seen from the pictures, however guests are advised that responsibility for small children using the patio and stairs belongs to them.

I am a freelance project manager primarily for IT related systems. Upto about 2013 I was IT Manager at the UWI, the primary university in the Caribbean. Seacastles is my getaway abode. About three years ago a group of us owned a fashion boutique in Montego Bay and this was the accommodation used on and off my us the directors. Since we closed the boutique the apartment is now available most of the time.

I love to dabble in art (landscape painting) as a hobby but i don't claim to be good at it.

I am on and my website is which I am currently updating. This will give a bit more information if you need it.

I am new to Airbnb and I am really finding my way slowly because I currently have quite a few new 'opportunities' which I am trying to get started.

I am looking forward to meeting as many of my guests as possible.
