We are centrally located in downtown Ballard. Walk or bike to Lincourt, Rideau, Buttonwood, and Blackjack. The town of Los Olivos is approx. 3 miles away, a nice, easy bike ride or short drive. One of the best restaurants in the Valley, The Ballard Inn, is within 1 block - no driving required. Other nearby restaurants include Petros, Sides, Los Olivos Cafe and Wine Merchant, Lansby, Red Barn, Dos Carlitos, The Vineyard House, and so many more...
The Ballard Suite Spot is a private Craftsman-style apartment in the Heart of the Santa Ynez Valley wine region. Located 1/2 block from the renowned Ballard Inn and Restaurant, and the historic little red school house; Ballard School.
* Queen sized bed
* Bedroom has 32" flat screen tv with dvd, and directv. Unit also has wi-fi and a desk area.
* Bathroom with plush towels and tub/shower
* Kitchenette/Dining Room with fridge/freezer, toaster oven, drip coffee pot (with French Roast coffee, creamer, and assortment of teas), and microwave.
Please note that the apartment is attached to our house but has a private separate entrance. We are here if you need us, but otherwise you have complete privacy.

Guests at the Ballard Suite Spot also have access to a small side yard with adirondack chairs, table, bike rack, and BBQ on request.

Ballard was the first town settled in the Santa Ynez Valley in the the late 1800's. The little red schoolhouse was built in 1882 and has been in continuous use ever since. The Ballard Suite Spot is extremely convenient to the Ballard Inn and The Loper Chapel - an historic landmark that is a much sought-after location for Weddings.
Public transit is within 2 blocks, however,biking is the preferred method of getting around the Valley. And, there are many nice walks right from our location. Most of the towns in the Valley are from 3 to 6 miles from one another. For bikers who prefer longer rides, there are no shortage of scenic routes in excess of 25-50 miles or more.

-We are a NON-SMOKING property (anywhere on the premises) and you will be charged a damage fee at the owners determination.
-No Bicycles allowed inside the unit, only in bike rack outside. Please come prepared with items to secure your bike(s).
-One parking space is provided on the street at the entrance of our driveway. On-street parking in front of the unit is allowed for loading/unloading only since no parking is allowed in the bike lane.
-We have no Air Conditioning. We have a ceiling fan in the kitchen and an oscillating fan in the bedroom, dual pane windows and black-out blinds throughout. During the warm summer months, guests who utilize these features - closing up on a hot day and opening up in the evenings - will find the apartment quite comfortable at all times.
No Smoking, No Pets, No Parties, No Bikes inside.
