You're exhausted. You've travelled all day and night. You need a place to gather your thoughts and ideas from your journeys, and expand new horizons in Hudson, NY. What better way than to be surrounded by memories of travels gone by. This apartment, includes 2 queen beds, a twin bed, a private kitchen, and private bath, with a railroad apt design.
The Traveller's Suite is located on the 2nd floor of a building built in 1864. Originally a single family home, it was subdivided during the great depression, and has remained that way since. The building is presently being renovated, and the exterior of the building is the last on our "to-do" list. But as you can see from the photos, the interior looks very different from the exterior (ie never judge a book by its cover).
The suite itself has two queen beds and a single. The master bedroom doubles as a living room, and the bed could be used as a day bed. The middle bedroom is private with a door, and the single bedroom has a heavy curtain for privacy from the adjacent, fully-stocked kitchen.
The bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom, which is why the privacy curtains are provided for that bed's inhabitants.
The dining room has a bright and inviting atmosphere, which could also work as a living room.
Zugang für Gäste
Guests enter from the main door, travel up one flight of stairs, and have access to the entire apartment located on the second floor.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We greet the guests and show where all the amenities are (including fire extinguisher, alarms, and first aid kit). We use an electronic lock on the main door to secure the house, and keys for the independent rooms/suites. The house is under renovation, but rest assured, if you are staying with us, you wouldn't know it: quiet, clean, and no construction smells!

Exterior renovations began summer 2016. No worries, though, as we are very sensitive to guest's needs. No work will happen while you are around.
The City of Hudson, as of June 1, 2017, will be imposing a Lodging tax of 4%. I’ve always supported a tax of this sort for Hudson, not only to improve the city, but provide a budget for dreams. I just wish it wasn’t this high.
In lieu of this, i will be providing an envelope in your reserved room, with the 4% of your reservation labeled. By paying this tax, you will help keep my dream alive, and Hudson’s.
We are adults, and expect you to behave accordingly. Its an old house, and other guests will hear rowdiness. Please be respectful of your neighbors.

I got tired of it all . . . so now I renovate old buildings, plant things in my garden, and produce and perform electronic dance music with Science Vs Nature alongside my record label, Expedition Recordings. I stay busy, because, if i stop, i think I'll die.
