Hello! Welcome to our cozy space. Our basement apartment has been recently renovated into a great little bachelor. We've decorated it with our finds from around the city and our travels around the world.

Some great features about the space:

- the neighbourhood (the Junction Triangle) is booming! There are several new restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The Junction and Roncesvalles are also close by, and they both offer a wide variety of shopping, eating and drinking options
- very close to transit & the UP Express, which makes a normally long trip to the downtown core MUCH faster than it used to be!
- loads of nearby parks and green spaces, including one right across the street with tennis courts and a community garden
- grocery and convenience stores are around the corner for your essentials
- Coffee! We always have fresh coffee and a french press available for you!
- there is a kitchenette in the space with a fridge, stove and everything else you need to cook and eat a meal
- space heater and a fan are available for your heating/cooling needs
- for your entertainment needs, there is also an AppleTV with Netflix, MLBtv, Playstation and a Super Nintendo (along with some classic games)
- wifi included

The apartment has a separate entrance at the side of the house. We will send you the code for the lock box the day before you're scheduled to arrive.
The place is furnished with a double bed, kitchenette, table for eating, clothes rack and chest of drawers. There is a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub too.

Street parking is available directly outside the apartment. You can visit the city's website at "https: // secure dot toronto dot ca/wes/eTPP/welcome dot do" to get a temporary pass at a cost of $21.09 per week, $9.00 per 24 hours or $13.51 per 48 hours (plus tax).

I live in the space above the apartment with my partner Aleida and we are available to help out with any issues in the space, recommend restaurants, cafes and shops, and anything else you may need.

The Junction Triangle is Toronto's current "up and coming" neighbourhood. There are 5 newly opened restaurants, 2 new cafes and several art galleries. It's very walkable and both Roncesvalles and the Junction are a few minutes away but not close to the downtown core on foot or by car. However, it is easy to get downtown on the UP Express.

Getting to-and-from Pearson International Airport

UP Express
- the new UP train has a stop about a 5 minute walk from out door. It's super fast, less than 15 minutes, and the price has recently been dropped down to $9/person.

TTC
-Public transit is $3.25 per ride. There is one transfer from bus to subway, and drops you off just up the street. It takes about 40 minutes.

CAB/UBER
- a cab will cost about $50 and take about half an hour. On your way back to the airport (or to get around the city Not on public transit), we highly recommend taking an Uber and will happily share a discount code (!!!) with you.

There are quite a few bus stops right around the corner, going in all directions, and the subway is a 2 minute bus ride or 10 minute walk away.

If you are driving, please be sure to arrange for a temporary parking permit at the website above! If you need a permit printed, we will be happy to accommodate...
