Well kept self-service lodge in a quiet, family friendly holiday park surrounded by nature in the Veluwe forest.
Located just to the east of picturesque Hoenderloo village, a gateway to the National Park boasting spectacular wildlife & the Kroller-Muller museum, famous for it's Van Gogh collection.
Just 90mins drive from Amsterdam, and close to Germany in the east, it's a great base for exploring the Netherlands & beyond. WWII historic sites also abound with Arnhem on the doorstep.
THE CABIN>> Well kept furnished lodge in a quiet, family friendly woodland holiday park. Free shared park WiFi (not suitable for business travel as in peak times can get slow and intermittent).

Small office desk. Private garden with shed outside and own driveway.
Comfortably houses families of 4. Kitchen features a fridge with freezer compartment, a Microwave, bread toaster, washbasins and a gas stove (4 plate). Good park laundry facilities located just 50m from the chalet.

Weitere wichtige Infos
Part of “Ben’s dream De Rimboe” - the holiday park is situated in the middle of the forest boasting gorgeous nature walks on all sides. Expect regular sightings of Wild Boar (who often wander into the garden at night), Deer, Red Squirrels and if you’re lucky, the occasional shy fox.
The park is quiet, especially in the winter. At night time the area gets very dark (minimal artificial lighting) so if your arrival is going to be after sundown, please take note that the park and cabin are somewhat more difficult to find (though the instructions we send you once booked should be sufficient). In wintertime, sunset can be as early as 16:30 and in summertime as late as 22:30!
Strictly No Smoking or Pets allowed in any part of the property or garden. SELF SERVICE = Guests are required to clean and tidy the cabin upon departure (including the bathroom, WC, removing any rubbish and hoovering).
We advise guests to bring their own pillowcases, duvet covers/sleeping bags and towels. If this is not possible, fresh bed linen is available to rent (€5 per bed, €1 per towel, regardless of stay duration).
IMPORTANT: Please read the Airbnb confirmation you are sent after booking carefully for directions on how to find and open the chalet within the park.
Park Rules Include:
* No Motorized traffic inside the park (parking outside still accessible) between 23:00 and 07:00 daily (Quiet time).
* Guests must register at the reception and pay local Tourist tax of €5 per night or €25 per week directly to the park owners.
* Maximum 5kmph driving speed inside the park.
* We kindly ask that you leave the place as clean and tidy as you found it.
Born in the Netherlands, I grew up in the UK from the age of 3 until I returned to the Netherlands as a young adult.
I studied contemporary music in England and operated as a freelance drum teacher for many years. As a passionate and experienced drummer, I have played with some acclaimed artists and even a few of my personal musical heroes.
