I travel continuously so my staff will look after you as best as possible. I am quick to answer on e-mail at any concerns (if on the same time zone). If I am using my phone my answers will be short and to the point, don't get me wrong. If I am on my computer my answers will be very much more friendly as its easier and quicker to type when I'm not on the run. My housekeeper works from 9 - 4pm. She speaks a little bit english but understands more and will help you with anything you need.
What makes Bingin Beach magical is the neighbours. We are all in "the same boat" so everyone is "sharing & caring!". The houses are close to one another.
"The Inn Possible" (far left of the beach) makes the no 1 egg and bacon roll. It's perfect for any hungover. Try their healthy green juice, or delicious Inn Possible smoothie and their rocket fuel coffee. In the evening you can also enjoy a glass of wine or a Bintang watching the magical view and sunset with "Cafe Del Mar" style music.
Rohan from "Beyond Bali Events" is able to advise and assist in Wedding planning.
"Mama Tom Toms" serves local food at great prices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
"Papa Junis" serves BBQ fresh fish on the beach, along with "Lucky fish".
"Villa Ombak", has a great Nasi Campur and amazing balinese deserts.
"Didi's", is a cute hang out place. Didis serves tasty French Baguettes and my favourite feta cheese salad.
"Kellys" is more commercial style american food.
On the top of the cliff is "Mu hotel", serving big breakfast in stylish surroundings, plus 3 course evening meals for 150,000 (prebook). They have yoga classes at 10am and 5.30pm.
"The Temple Lodge" has yoga 8am in the mornings and Sushi on Sundays. They also have a steam room.
"The Cashew Tree" has a big selection of healthy food and a fun family style band and DJ party on thursday nights.
For a more wilder night out. On Wednesdays & Sundays you can visit "Single Finn", on Fridays "Thomas Beach" (reggae band and different DJ's), Saturdays "Padang Padang Beach".
If you don't wish to leave the house at all, speak with Anni and she can bring all supplies to you.
Since we are off the track in Bingin Beach there is no access for big busses. And is sometimes also difficult for drivers to find. At the top of the cliff there are only private houses, and there is no big Hotel around to overcrowd the area. It's actually one of the most best kept secrets in Bali. And I always feel super safe at Bingin Beach.
Bingin Beach will naturally give you strong legs. And the newly sculptured staircase makes it much easier getting up and down.
If you like to explore the local area a scooter or car is the way around. Rentals are easy and cheap. After booking, you will receive the drivers email and "" number for pick-up at the airport.
The driver knows the exact location of the house, so that's way more relaxing for you. Finding the place without getting lost, especially if arriving late in the night. They can also assist with porters for bringing your luggage down the cliff for a small fee.
Weitere wichtige Infos
Many people struggle with the walk down. It's about 168 steps down to the beach. But It's well worth the trip. Luckily we have luggage service at your disposal.
The bag service to bring the bags up/down is around 20,000 to 50,000 a bag. Well worth it if you can't or don't want to carry them on your own. If you go to the public car park they will try to charge you 100,000 as its a longer way down.
We pay an annual fee for the short cut down. So if you are arriving with a taxi, make sure you don't walk down the public access, and ask for the supermarket access at Suzys Inn.
Bring a torch because it's a little bit hard to see the steps in the night.
We have netting to put on balcony to make it safe for children also, just ask the staff and they will help you.
If you like adventure, being close to nature, something different, outside the box you will enjoy my home. If you like 5 star sealed concrete tourists spots I don't think this is the place for you.
We are a beach front house at the bottom of a cliff. Every single pebble was carried down 168 stairs by hand/foot. We do our best to keep the property well maintained and cared for but we cannot guarantee perfection. Things can go wrong, ocean living is harsh on the property.
I love my home. Please treat her with love ;-)
-No smoking in the bedrooms. Smoking only on outside balcony.
-No wild parties (we are a quiet community).
-Please wash your feet (keeps sand to minimum inside the house) and take your shoes off at the front door (asia style).

-BE MINDFUL OF THE WATER SITUATION, it is supplied by tankers.

-Please keep in mind that it's not a hotel, it's my home, your home, relax & enjoy. Let the staff know if there is any thing they can help you with, if something needs attention to, as we prefer to sort issues out immediately so you can enjoy your uninterrupted stay. I appreciate your caution and care.

I've been travelling and working around the world since I was 15. I picked up my first hammer as a teenager and built 28 stables over a 10 year period. Fascinated by builders and why things never went according to plan. I dreamed of building a city house, a beach house and a mountain retreat. 20 years later, with will power and passion for making things, the dream became a reality.
Britain – London. The concept was born in 1999, I analyzed how the space we occupy effects our mind, body and spirit. It was an eco build with natural paints, plasters insulation, light therapy (happy-shower), magnetic mattresses and more. The full analysis of how to create a healthy home. 7 years later appearing on the Property Ladder tv show.
Brazil – Minas Gerais. Concept was to create a romantic self service mini spa using hot and cold therapy. I used the pro-type of Britain and added a grand fireplace, sauna and Japanese wooden bath.
Bali – Bingin Beach. This run down Warung choose me. It’s the hardest project I have ever undertaken. You have to be crazy with passion to build at the bottom of a cliff, right in front of the ocean. I had to let go of everything I knew, master how to build in a bikini with muslim/hindu builders, and pray to the Building Gods. The funniest moment, was swimming across the ocean with a water tank, as it was too big to bring down the path. I learnt how to let-it-b.
I love off the beaten track travel and all my properties provide this. They are handmade with love. They have a personality, a warmth and are all unique. They are built with deep thought, and a continual play/experimentation of materials. They are not perfect, just a playful purr-fect!
I have experienced Burning man festival many times, my style of hosting is similar - Self-reliance - please read the instruction manual. Self expression - be free to express yourself in the space, yes, you can move the furniture about. Leave no trace - be mindful of the rubbish - recycle, reduce, reuse. My motto in life, "where there is a will there is a way....."
