The cabin has a cozy living space with a wood burning stove and exposed beams overhead. It's kitchen is adequately equipped. The bathroom offers a clawfoot tub with shower. Upstairs you'll find a comfortable bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The sitting porch out front offers a perfect place to watch the sunset. The original cabin is at least 100 + years old and rests on a stone foundation. The kitchen and bath are later additions. Consider its age and rural location when booking especially if you are prone to allergies.Insects find ways to get in despite our best efforts. Also, heating the cabin with the electric baseboard units can be expensive. Guests are asked to help us keep electricity costs manageable by turning the heat down or off when away for long periods. And, please do not open window if the heat is on. The cabin is also one of several buildings on the property and is situated near the main house.

Guests of The Cabin share a driveway with the main house, but are welcome to pull right up the cabin. Once situated, guests are welcome to explore the property. Given the number of fruit trees, be aware that pollinators a present.

Cell phone service at the cabin is spotty depending on your service provider. More information about the cabin will be provided to guests 3-4 days before arrival unless requested earlier.

Closing procedures: Please strip beds sheets and put in laundry basket provided. Leave wet towels in the bathtub. Wash and put away any used cooking pots/pans/utensils and dishes. In winter, leave heat on low setting. In summer, turn off AC and open window on porch. Place key back on hook and leave door unlocked.Place your trash in the bin at the end of the driveway upon departure.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
This house is privately owned and is being operated by the Arsenovic family. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while the Renter or guests of the Renter are on the premises or using the facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Renter or guests.
By signing this agreement, the Renter confirms that they are over the age of 21 and they agree that he/she is assuming all risk of harm arising from their use of the premises and facilities, and the Renter will hold the owners harmless from all damages or expenses which may be incurred by the Renter or guests of the Renter during the period of dates selected.

Mulberry Springs is owned and operated by Leonne and Ilija from Gloucester County, Va. Their son's years attending the University of Virginia prompted frequent trips to Charlottesville. They have since fallen in love with the foot hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and hope to share the experience with others.
