Our home is a sanctuary of light and stillness and would suit you if are seeking serenity in the city. My husband and I are well travelled and are both creative people who relish in the art of poetic writing and architecture so would definitely suit like minded writers and creative geniuses that you are. All are welcome here though :)
We would love to share the space with you on your arrival and accomodate you in a big quiet room on the ground floor where you will also share the kitchen and dining room and the bathroom with a seperate bath and shower on the first floor.
The house is well placed for access to the buzzing high street of East Dulwich, Lordship Lane, where there are plentiful bars, cafes, including a tea cafe, restaurants( turkish, indian, greek, french etc), fashion boutiques, bakeries, delis, farmers shops for fresh produce and even a buoyant Saturday market on Northcross road.
We are also close to the cosy feel of Dulwich Village and within walking distance of the Dulwich Park, Sydenham Woods, Horniman Museum and Dulwich Picture Gallery. There is also a farmers market at Herne Hill on Sundays which is not too far from us.
To get into central London, we are in Zone 2 so there is easy and convenient transportation on buses and rail and overground train options to easily get into Victoria, London Bridge, East London( on the overground) and the City.
You are very welcome to share what we have including cooking facilities, however we do not cook raw meat at home.
We look forward to sharing our home with you.
