Our custom '65 Overlander Airstream, fondly referred to as "Gnome Party," is an eco-friendly retreat on the same piece of property as our popular "Little Gem." Here you can rest and recharge your batteries without taxing the planet.
We customized "Gnome Party" with the environment in mind: you'll find the composting toilet clean, without odor, and easy to use; our water-catching system (for the landscape) has never been simpler; and you'll enjoy the warmth of the super-efficient heater!

Guests have access to bath and kitchen amenities from towels to tea, as well as, an outdoor grill. Gnome Party has a front deck and a backyard; both offer awesome views.
Since we live in the country, cell service is spotty at best. We support a local mom-and-pop internet service provider, whose service can also be spotty. Enjoy being off the grid with us!

We're here to help! Please don't hesitate to ask us whatever is on your mind. Cayucos, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Cambria, and Paso Robles wine country are each just a stone's throw away, and we know the area like the back of our hand. Maybe even better.

California is still in drought, so we do appreciate your taking short showers and turning off water when washing dishes and brushing teeth. You can look us up on Instagram with #cactusonthecoast -- and post your pictures there too, if you like!
Stupidity cures itself... Please drive slowly on our narrow, windy driveway (watch for deer and other drivers). We ask that you respect our less-than-conventional lifestyle and are mindful with water usage due to the drought. If you need to wash your clothes, please use the washers and dryers in Cayucos (located on Ocean Ave.). Due to fire hazards, we cannot have smoking or fire pits on the property. Please leave your pets at home or in the care of others. This is a drone-free space! Thank you.
My husband and I wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if we didn't have our projects. We live the project life. Let us share one of them (our Sovereign) with you. Who knows what we'll be up to upon your arrival!
