Amazingly located 1bd apartment in de Pijp, the city's neighborhood with the most bars and restaurants per inhabitant. Sunny. Pet-friendly. Wifi, full modern amenities and very quiet bedroom as it faces the back yards of the neighbours.
65m2. Sunny, centrally located but quiet and spacious. Wooden floors throughout and two balconies, one of which is facing south and if the sun is out, you'll catch it. No other buildings in front of the apartment, it is facing an open space. Right across a local beer brewery which is one of the town's most popular hot-spots and has the best burgers in town. However, once in the bedroom, it's like you're in the countryside, quiet and serene, as it is facing backyards.
You have NO DOWNSTAIRS neighbours, so you can walk in your shoes or heels, without annoying anyone and you also have no upstairs neighbours, as the flat upstairs is used by the guy living on the 3rd floor for the occasional visits of his teenage kids, so no one will annoy you with the stomping.
NOTE: Pets have been in this property before, and some of the chairs and couch have some pet scratches on them (visible on the pictures, not so bad). Of course the place is kept completely clean and de-haired after every guest.
Zugang für Gäste
Wifi, cable tv, two persons bathtub, 180x210 bed, hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel, breakfast groceries in the baby-blue SMEG fridge.
The flat is situated on the first floor of the building, there is no lift (same as with most Amsterdam houses) but the flight of stairs is short.
Interaktion mit Gästen
As often as the guests need. From daily if needed to only check out and check in. I offer pick-up service for a fee less than a taxi's (Depending on where i pick you up from).

If you want an authentic local Dutch experience, this is the neighbourhood you should stay at. The city's most outgoing locals live here because it is full of amazing bars, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is opposite a full big supermarket which is open until 10pm every day also on Sundays.
Water pressure is very good and internet is super fast.
In the night, the bedroom doesn't get 100% dark from the street lights and the lack of window shutters in this country but the street light is very vague cause the bedroom faces the backyards and not the street. Even so, I provide eye masks just in case.
The bed has a memory foam mattress.
Please do not destroy anything in the property and do not remove any of my belogings. Do not smoke indoors (use one of the two balconies for this please) and use the small drain in the bath/shower to filter hairs- thank you!! Pets are allowed.
Greek (now also Dutch) landlady with an extensive knowledge of what's trending in Amsterdam in terms of bars, restaurants, cafes and brunch places. I have been renting out a property (albeit long-term and not via airbnb) since 2005 so I know the drill and i have had my fair share of tenant interaction.
I came here in 2004 so i know what it's like to want to see Amsterdam and know everything about it. I got dual citizenship a few years back so I am even officially a local, with tips and ins-and-outs about this city.
Bit of a philosophy geek, so don't get spooked by the bookshelf selection in the apartment.
I am available and have time to help the guests with anything they may need.
As a guest, because i also host, i know what it's like to respect another person's property :)
