Spacious room with comfy kingsize bed and separate private bathroom in peaceful home decorated with trinkets from my travels. Includes a welcoming host, two friendly cats, light breakfast, & teas/coffee during stay. Guests welcome to use kitchen, lounge & yoga space too!
Fab chilled & green area - run / walk along the park and river; play tennis; enjoy great coffee or wine in our local bars and cafes - or hop on a super quick train to the city, Uni, rugby / cricket matches or the Bay!
The bedroom is very spacious and light, with a king-size bed and wooden floors, and a (vintage) desk. The house has lots of period features, is peacefully decorated, and sprinkled with trinkets I've picked up along my travels. Music, yoga, India and South America influences are all to be found. The separate upstairs bathroom has a roll-top bath. You will have sole use of this during your stay.

I will be there to welcome you on arrival, and will happily give you the lowdown on places to eat / visit. I'm mindful of respecting your privacy, but equally enjoy chatting when I'm around if you like that too!
Llandaff North is becoming a bit of a hotspot to live in Cardiff. And hopefully you'll see why. Its a quiet suburb that's a friendly, green area with a beautiful park away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but within easy reach of most things! Locally, we have a few lovely cafe's, a fab family run Indian restaurant, and a Co-op. We also have good choice of shops, bars and cafes in Whitchurch or the historic Llandaff, both a short walk away (10-15mins). Hailey Park is just around the corner which includes rugby pitches, kids playground and tennis courts. Here you'll find the Taff Trail running alongside the River that heads either north towards Fforest Farm, Castle Coch and more rural villages, or go south towards Cardiff and UWIC Universities, the Millennium Stadium, Cricket stadium, Pontcanna, Pedal Power bike hire, Chapter Arts Centre, the City Centre and Cardiff Bay. I love living in Cardiff - it has such alot to offer - be it sport, music, theatre, art, cinema, or food. I'll do my best to point you in the right direction to any of these.
Getting around is very easy, particularly if you are relying on public transport. There are bus stops just around the corner heading to the city centre, or to the University hospital. But the quickest way to travel is by train, which runs approx 4 or 5 times an hour, and reaches the city or University in under ten mins. On match days, the stadium is easy to reach by train, or by a lovely (but longish) walk along the river. The area is also very accessible by car, a few minutes drive from the M4 and major routes into Cardiff.
Weitere wichtige Infos
A light breakfast (e.g. cereal, milk, and bread) will be provided for you in the morning for you to help yourself to. I'm a fan of hot drinks too, and you will be welcome to help yourself to the various teas and coffee available during your stay.
I should probably note that the shower is downstairs in the (shared) wetroom. The private bathroom is upstairs and has a bath, sink and toilet. Towels will be provided during your stay.
The house is home to two cool cats, who are brothers and best friends to eachother! They're friendly, if a little shy, so will only hang around if you invite them to.
For any yoga enthusiasts, I'm a qualified teacher and can provide lessons for an additional cost, or point you in the direction of some great classes around Cardiff.
There is a tv in the lounge which you're welcome to use - it is via apple tv and NowTV so only has sky channels (but great if you're a GoT fan!!)
On-street parking is available (one guest parking permit available, but there are also non-permit spaces too on the street)
General courtesy, e.g cleaning up after yourselves in the kitchen, being kind to the cats and keeping noise down after 10.30 pm so the neighbours are happy! I like to keep a fairly chilled vibe in the house so if you're out drinking in the eve please come back in a decent enough condition.
Wenn du bis zu 5 Tage vor deinem Aufenthalt stornierst, erhältst du eine volle Rückerstattung, inklusive Service-Gebühren.
I"m passionate about music, yoga, travelling and the countryside. I'm always on the lookout for a great gig, yoga class or new place to visit, and feel most at home on top of a mountain in the sunshine!
I love finding out about other cultures, and air bnb has been a great way to do so, while meeting fab people along the way.
As a guest & host I'm pretty easy-going, and enjoy getting to know people, while being mindful of people's space and need for down-time. So I"m very much guided by the vibe of the people around me.
In my everyday life I'm a public health researcher, and also a qualified yoga teacher (so always happy to arrange some private lessons!).
