Thank you for your valuable feedback. I'm sorry you felt communication was not adequate as we emailed often, especially as initially you had booked for just yourself. Yes, Our listing for pet friendly has changed recently which is why we were more than happy to have you continue with your booking - although when you booked the listing always detailed a charge, plus bond and also noted that you must let us know if you were bringing a pet to discuss our policy and charges... hence the surprise when you arrived with a huge German Shepard and why we did not discuss the changes to policy. We had never had that before as people always tend to let us know.
As for wifi and mobile reception - we unfortunately cannot offer a booster as we are only able to receive extremely limited satellite data which I need for the business. I know it seems crazy as we are only 8 mins from town but that's the way it is. Maybe eventually we will be able to receive more via satellite and extend our use to our guests.. we'd even love it for ourselves, but we do not intend to mislead our guests. It is on our listing also but thank you for reiterating it here. We always offer a phone to guests as a landline in case of emergency of course and there are places you can receive reception. Most of our guests only stay for a few nights and tend to appreciate disconnecting and reconnecting with family anyway. We now have a heater to boost the rooms - thank you. However we still love to light the fire for our guests and offer to keep it alight during the day in this short cold snap to keep everyone comfortable and our last few guests detailed it as super cosy as our home is with only the fireplace. Got to love rammed earth! Our pet policy will not be changing back in the near future but thank you again.
