There is also a full kitchen available in the common area and a back patio for sipping coffee or to grill. Please be aware that this a basement with a private door attached to the common area of the house. This is not an entire house to rent.

Enjoy the entire basement including a private bedroom with a queen size bed and walk-in closet. You have a coffee pot, microwave, apartment sized refrigerator, and full private bath. The living room has a couch, table with chairs and a bunk bed that sleeps up to 3 people. The entrance is at the front of the house going into the basement.
The area is fantastic. You are in the middle of Historic Old Colorado City and are just two blocks or so from all the BEST restaurants and shops including the Colorado Creamery. Located on the Westside, there are hiking trails within walking distance. Any thing you want is right here - groceries, coffee, shops, pubs, restaurants and other attractions. These are all within two blocks of the house. Easy access to Manitou Springs, Woodland Park, Garden of the Gods, CC, UCCS and Penrose Equestrian Center.
We are close to the highway so it is easy to get to Denver or anywhere else in Colorado Springs.
Laundry services can be arranged, as well as any shopping services that may be required. Please let us know if you have any other needs.
TV includes an HD antenna to access local channels. The media PC and internet allows you to stream almost anything you want including having access to any streaming services you use at home such as Hulu or Netflix. Also includes media software that allows for streaming video from other websites. Please be aware that this a basement with private door accessed from the front of the house. This is not an entire house to rent.

House rules are as follows:
Guests will have access to the main level common area including kitchen. Guests are responsible for their own food. Guests are required to clean up after themselves. Use of the common area will show respect for other occupants.

The following policies will be added to the agreement:
1. Any access to the 2nd floor will result in termination of the rental agreement, all payment will be non-refundable and guests will immediately vacate the premises.
2. Any behavior that would indicate involvement with but not limited to drug use, alcohol abuse or violence and/or breaking any local, state or federal laws of any kind will result in the involvement of the local authorities and in the event of any such needed involvement of the local authorities will terminate the rental agreement, all payment will be non-refundable and guests will immediately vacate the premises.
3. No smoking in the premises, outside the premises or any where on the property and such will terminate the rental agreement, all payment will be non-refundable and the guests will vacate the property immediately.
4. No pets on the property or in the premises and any pet being on the property will terminate the rental agreement, all payment will be non-refundable and the guests will vacate the property immediately.
5. In the event the guests will not vacate the property as agreed in the agreement, the police will have authority to remove guests from the premises with no legal rights as tenants to the eviction process with no consideration to the length of stay.
6. Any damages that occur will be deducted from the security deposit and in the event a credit card is used, all damages can and will be charged to the credit card on file even if it should require several charges over an extended period of time.
7. Guests will be solely responsible for the behavior for any individual they bring into the premises or on the property and all of the above would apply equally to such individual.

The place is 3 blocks to pubs, restaurants. It is safe to walk at night. We had the entire basement so privacy was no issue. Michael was personable and answered all of our questions. I will stay here again.

This place was awesome, very clean and located in a quiet neighborhood but super close to a ton of good food and awesome things to do, Garden of the Gods was my family's favorite. The host was extremely fast to respond to any questions we had while we were there.

Michael's basement apartment was extremely spacious and gave our family the chance to really spread out. Also, the location was mere blocks from really great restaurants and just miles away from all Colorado Springs has to offer.

It is an Old Colorado city neighborhood which is pleasant. Between AJ and Aniessa, they both tried to accommodate any requests we had. The basement had 4 windows which let in more light than usual for a basement. I really appreciated this.

Michael was great! This was our first experience using AirBNB. We kept in communication via AirBNB during our drive to let him know our time arrival. The place was great and very accommodating for two adults and five children ranging from 2yrs-14yrs. Everything we planned to see was within minutes of the location. Which helped us be able to run home and eat during each sight seeing and/or change clothes. Michael was very informative on locations and how to use his electronics. The kids enjoyed watching movies and relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip and recommend to anyone of our friends and family who are looking to see the Colorado Springs, and Manitou Springs area.

A good sized space in a nice part of town - had the basic bits needed and host resolved issues when needed. Was good for just one person but would be even better for a party of people... So many beds for a low price!
