Enjoy the cozy living room with warm wood burning fireplace (currently out of order due to recent damaging weather) and comfortable seating. Living room couch does fold out for additional sleeping if needed. The living room opens into the spacious kitchen and dining area. The dining table seats 4. There is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to make the perfect meal. Down the hall from the kitchen is the one full bathroom with tub and shower. Beyond this, you will find the two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. Washer and dryer included.
Carmel Cottage sits on an oversized lot with plenty of room for the kids and dog to run. Carmel Cottage allows one dog per reservation with flea treatment before arrival. Guests have full access to the whole house except one owner closet in the hallway. There is plenty of storage in this little house so that should not take away from anything. Our home is our home.

We can be as involved as you would like us to be. We are accessible 24 hours a day for our guests by phone. Our office is less than a block from the house. Our office hours are 9am-5:30pm 7 days a week, year-round.

We have add our 9% lodging tax into the nightly rate and also into the cleaning fee. The cleaning fee also reflects a $45 non-refundable damage protection that covers a renter from unintentional damage up to $1,000.

Please read the following policies and procedures carefully. If you have any questions, please call our office.
Cancellations: 50% refund if outside of 31 days from your stay. No refund if within 30 days from your arrival day. If needing to switch dates, that has to be done outside of 45 days from your stay. No refunds for a shortened stay.
Cleaning: We kindly ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the sheets). Please leave the house and kitchen tidy. Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided.
Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, bath towels, dish towels, and hand towels as well as toilet paper and paper towels. Cookware, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster are all provided. You will need to provide your own, toiletries, napkins, paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take home linens down to the beach at any time, unless designated towels are marked for "beach")
Check-In/Check-out: Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out is 11 a.m.
If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we are happy to grant this if it is possible. Please
speak with your reservation specialist for details. This will only be available October-May. Please check
out promptly as we must prepare the house for the next renter. This includes moving your vehicle off
the property. If we must wait 15 minutes or more for your departure, you will be charged a $50 late
Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The occupancy and parking policies are dictated by the city ordinances to control noise and congestion of our neighborhoods as well as maintain the quality of our properties. To maintain our rental permits we cannot allow RV’s campers, trailers or tents at the homes and the occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at anytime. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate having visitors drop by, we ask that you rent a larger home. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. This home has a 3 car limit and a 6 person occupancy limit.
Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum. There is a five night minimum on reservations during July and August. There is a three night minimum on reservations during Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Christmas and New Years, and Thanksgiving.
Dog Policies: Limit 1 dog to this home, no cats. All dogs must be flea treated at least a week before arrival or be on a monthly year round treatment plan. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding and do not leave dogs unattended in or outside of the house at any time. All pet waste must be picked up before leaving the premises. If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging or destruction to the outside of the property is required because of the pets, your card on file will be charged at costs determined by Manzanita Beach Getaway based on time and repair cost.
Smoking: We currently have no homes that allow smoking. Violators of this policy will be subject to an additional cleaning fee determined by Manzanita Beach Getaway Rentals.
Refunds, Rules and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather or mechanical failure. We reserve the right to refuse renting to anyone. We rent our vacation homes to adults only, 21 or older. No teen or college parties allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without refund. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Transfer: Rental Agreements are non-transferable to another party.
