Arts and Crafts home, to which we added 1000 sf for a master BR, family room, and gourmet kitchen. Concord is a quaint New England country village filled with historic sites, ponds and rivers but is a short drive/train ride to Cambridge/Boston.
The Arts and Crafts style house has 4 BRs and a study, a 500 sf master bedroom, a master bathroom the size of a NY city apartment, a light-filled family room, a classic living room with what architects tell us is a classic inglenook, a kitchen with a nice island and a dining room that is great for entertaining.
The property also has on it a 1000 sf art studio in a separate building. This will be locked and unavailable except to a professional artist (at a price to be discussed).
Zugang für Gäste
You would have access to the whole house but not to the studio.

We will be in California but available by email, text or phone. My office is a quarter mile away and my executive assistant will be available to help on certain issues. She has access to our contractors if there is a problem.
We take great care of our home and want our guests to feel welcome. We only ask that our guests respect our home and neighbors, and keep these rules in mind:
Please advise us at booking how many people are in your group so we can adequately prepare.
NO SMOKING and NO PETS. Ilana is highly allergic to both and by doing either, you would damage her health when she returns.
Shoes off inside please.

I am a former Harvard Business School professor and run a consulting firm that gives advice to companies and governments in complex negotiations. My wife is a well-known artist (painter, printmaker, and installations) who grew up in Montreal. We live in the Boston area. My son started a software company while he was in university and has been running it but is attending Stanford for an MBA and an MS in Data Science. My daughter is a nurse practitioner.
Among us, we love seeing and making art, creating ideas that help people, great food (cooking and eating), hiking, cycling, kayaking. Also, theater, listening to audiobooks, indie music, ... .
We have traveled all over the world (North America, South America, Central America, Europe, China, Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa). We like to meet people and understand how they live. We try local foods (though usually not street food).
