HISTORY OF THE PROPERTY:
The place was built by the first woman mayor of Corrales..then sold on to other owners....we bought the place in February of 2011 and begin renovation and furnishing of the place. We replace the roof, repaired damage from roof leaks, removed all carpet and replaced with tile floors, repaired the sprinkler system around the place, removed dead plants and trees, re-landscaped the place and did our best to restore much of the place to look like a place people would want to enjoy. We will be continuing to update and improve the place. In September of 2012 we were married here and had guests in all rooms and in the studio apartment. Everybody had a great time and there were absolutely no problems with place. Though not yet a bed and breakfast there is Hannah and Nates within a short walking distance. We have adjusted the price of rooms accordingly. For many years a(URL HIDDEN)the place was callled Inn at the Village...we will soon replace the sign you see in front with that name with Camino Encantato.

The owners are Thackery and Yelena Gray. We are professionals that are renting out rooms in our second home. We are not currentlbusiness. We live in Chicago but spend time in our Corrales home 3-4 times a year. Our second home is a large former bed and breakfast located in the quaint village of Corrales. The former B&B was called Inn the Village. Corrales is an old artist eclectic former farming community bordering northwest Albuquerque. It is located on over an acre of land not far from Interstate 25 on the way to Sante Fe. A guest or guests has access to living, dining and kitchen areas even if they rent one room. We love the area because it is quiet and also has the lowest crime rate in New Mexico. The courtyard and backyard are beautiful areas in which to relax. We enjoy the nearby elevated walking/riding trail where from the backyard we often see people riding their horses, bikes or walking.
