If you would like to have a comfortable stay at a romantic, lovely apartment that is situated at a canal in the centre of Amsterdam, this is a good opportunity. If you want a combination of touristic sightseeing and the coziest bars and restaurants of the city, you have found the perfect apartment. It s located at the border of three different neighborhoods: the Popular Pijp, the ‘Upcoming East’ and the City Centre. I’d be happy to give you tips about good spots and restaurants to go to. The apartment is located close to the Amstel river (which means: beautiful views and boat houses), with Carre and The Hermitage on walking distance. Around the corner you ll find the Albert Cuyp market, where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables for a nice meal. Supermarkets are on a 5-minte walking distance.
- Apartment & Equipment -
The apartment is very light and spacious (60m2). It’ s located on the 2nd floor (*Please note that there is no elevator). Although it s located right in the centre of Amsterdam, the atmosphere inside is calm and quiet. It has a bedroom with a double bed. Fresh linen and towels are included. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave/oven, toaster, coffeemaker etc. The apartment has central heating and fast wireless internet (60MB). There is a small French balcony with a view on one of the famous canals of Amsterdam. No smoking inside, but outside please!
- Transport -
The apartment is close to the centre; it takes only two minutes to go by metro to several touristic areas (Waterlooplein, Rembrandtplein, Nieuwmarkt). The metro to Central Station takes +/- 6 minutes. From Central Station you can walk to Dam Square in about 5 minutes. Of course the best way to discover is Amsterdam is by bike! I can give you some addresses for bike rental.
