Rules of the accommodation at "Cinque Terre Gateway" of La Spezia (SP) are set up to ensure everyone a uniform, orderly and peaceful use of the Facility. It is contractual between "Cinque Terre Gateway" and the Guest, therefore the request to stay at our facility and the acceptance of such request by "Cinque Terre Gateway" implies the total acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with the Rules and the additional provisions of the Landlord leads to removal from the property of the offender and the reporting of the fact to all tourism organizations, notably also to public authorities in case failure to comply could have possibly led to suppose the commission of a crime. Behavior adopted by Clients, even minors, is considered contractually relevant and, therefore any infringement of the provisions of this Regulation and the common rules of civil society will result, based on the opinion delegated contractually to the Management, as the immediate resolution of the contract, requiring the Guest to leave the facility within 2 hours from contesting the facts. In the case, Cinque Terre Gateway will be entitled to retain any amount already paid by Customer and to collect the remaining amounts, even to compensate possible damages subject to the immediate right to compensation.
• Check-in: rooms will be available from 2:30 PM (GMT+1) up to 07.30 PM.(GMT+1) unless otherwise agreed. We recommend that you communicate well in advance the time of arrival at the facility, especially if it falls outside of normal reception hours. We provide luggage storage. If you are unable to respect the schedule please call our phone number to make special arrangements, but on occasions a system is available that allows to the late Guest the room access. Remember that there is not a reception service available at all hours of the day so please let us know the time and place of your arrival at least 24 hours before. Arriving to the facility without having notified may cause situation that cannot be a reason for complaints or claims for repayments. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation and only after confirmation, the staff will provide the instructions to access the room. You can leave this information in Special Requests box when booking, or by contacting the Property using the contact information on the booking confirmation. Luggage storage is always provided, free of charge. At Check-in, the Customer will receive magnetic card and keys, to access the room and the Facility.
• Check-out: rooms must be vacated by 10:00 am (GMT + 1), unless otherwise agreed, to allow room service. There will be an extra charge in case of failure to comply with the check-out rules.
• Magnetic card and keys, received at check-in, must be returned at check-out.
• Room service: room service is done every morning from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Clients are kindly requested to leave the room for the period, otherwise cleaning and towels replacement would not be possible. Clean sheets will be provided on arrival and changed every 3 days thereafter during your stay; it may be changed on specific request with extra change (linen € 5.00 and towels € 3.00). Customer laundry service is not available. Throw in the toilet only toilet paper (for sanitary towels, food, or other, use the recycle bin located in the bathroom).
• Breakfast: our breakfast is available each morning from 07:30 AM to 10:00 AM in a bar just outside the building. Guests will receive a ticket pointing out name and location of the bar where Guests have to go. The ticket allows to enjoy Italian breakfast. Extra fee by room is requested to enjoy the great Deluxe Breakfast buffet.
It is strictly forbidden to introduce any food or drink in the room.
• Parking: The facility has some private parking slots. Availability is limited and must be requested and confirmed at the reservation. The parking fee varies according to the season. Special Offers may include private parking. Additional parking options are:
- Private parking is available at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and charges are applicable.
- Public parking is available at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and charges may be applicable.
• Reservations and Payments: total cost of the room will be paid by Clients at check-in, while extras will be settled at check-out. The balance can be made by cash, credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD, AMEX) or cash in an amount of up to € 2,999.99. (as limited by Italian laws) . We do not give credit and we do not accept checks. Benefits are valid only for direct bookings (phone, mail, web site). We accept telephone reservations that must be confirmed by mail and with payment by bank transfer or cash within five working days, otherwise the booking will be void; in case of withdrawal within fifteen days from the date of arrival the deposit will be entirely refunded holding only bank charges. Note that payment of a deposit is considered as your acceptance of what has been agreed via personal, phone, email, postal or other correspondence. In case of no show or cancellation less than fifteen days, unless otherwise agreed, deposit will not be returned; reduction of staying or early departures, not agreed with the Management, will be charged in full; The full amount agreed on will be charged even if the number of persons is fewer than agreed upon beforehand. Under no circumstances will accommodation be provided for numbers of persons greater than confirmed at initial booking unless prior arrangements have been made with us.; if, by any reason, the room booked is not available, the Management gets the right to assign another with the same characteristics. At various times of the year the management reserves the right to not apply the prices listed on prior agreement with the client. Cancellation and prepayment policies may vary depending on the type of reservation request.
• Clients must provide, by national laws, a document suitable to certify their identity, valid ID card or passport for all guests, otherwise the operator must refuse them hospitality (art.109 laws P.S. as amended by Article 7 paragraph 2 of the L. 203/95). Each incoming customers is requested to fill a board statement that must be completed and signed (Public security Act as amended by article 74 n°4 of L. 203/95).
• Minimum age to rent a room: 18 years. One child under 4 years stays free of charge in the cot or crib. One child over that age, up to 12, is charged EUR 15 per night per person . Maximum capacity of extra beds / cots is 1. Supplements are not included in the total and must be paid separately at the check-out. Any type of extra bed or cot is available on request and subject to confirmation by the Landlord.
• Minors not accompanied by parents or a responsible adult must present a photocopy of parents ID with their signed authorization in free form.
• For hygienic reasons and for any allergies by other clients, pets are not allowed.
• The welcome point is at our facility, unless otherwise agreed.
• The geographical informations and directions on how to get to the facility are available on the website or if required will be provided after booking confirmation.
• Each room can be occupied only by the number of people indicated for that specific housing unit unless requested by the customer to add another bed.
• It is not allowed for reasons of public security, for guests to host other people inside the room and common areas at any time.
• It is strictly forbidden smoking, use of drugs, fires or use any kind of stove, speak loudly, shouting, banging doors or windows, connect to the electrical system any appliance or sound system (except razor, phone charger and / or computers), allow children to roam around. It is also forbidden to store miscellaneous items like umbrellas, chairs, buggies, lifebelt in common hallways, landings and in the building courtyard.
• Access to the facility is possible at any time. All the Guests are required to well behave, avoiding disturbance and harassment of persons or property within the Facility; especially not to create noise outside the building gate, in the entrance hall of the same and in the large courtyard.
• Also please, whenever you leave the room, close the door and check that the windows are closed, to prevent possible subtractions of values from the rooms.
• An Internet Point is located at the facility entrance. The use of this Service is limited to a maximum period of 15 minutes to allow another User to get in or vacated after that period if any other Client is waiting.
• The customer agrees to respect our facility and the things included. Any damage to our facility deliberately done, but also attributable to unskilfullness or inattention, will be charged the cost of recovery. Especially each guest is required to indemnify any damage caused to furniture, and all the other complementary equipment. In case guests loses the keys (also magnetic card), the air conditioning remote control or the TV remote control must pay a penalty of EUR 75,00. No liability is assumed for the loss, theft, damage to objects of your property left unattended in the building.
• All guests are required to comply our Terms and Conditions, a copy this document is located in each room as well as published and It is available on the official website . The rooms Price list is drawn up each year, published and available on our website as part of the Regulation. The Management gets the right to modify these rules for reasons of opportunities and operation of services by posting the changes at the Reception and updating its website. Our staff is at your disposal for every need, in order to make staying as pleasant as possible.
• Prices include: - standard breakfast - daily room cleaning - daily change of towels left on the floor - in the case of stay for most days linen change every three days - heating / air conditioning. - use of common areas Wi-Fi and Internet Point.
• Minibar: soft drinks and snacks in the minibar are not free, prices are exposed in each rooms and will be paid at the check-out, filling the dedicated list or talking to our staff what has been consumed. Minibar key is provided at the check-in. Getting the key, the Client accepts to immediately double check and confirm the content of the minibar as declared by the Landlord. Not notifying anything on the contrary within following hours will result as his implied confirmation. Meanwhile, in case of inaccurate declaration or communication about consumption of beverages and / or snacks, the Guest authorizes the charge of the real amount due on the credit card supplied and guaranteed when booking or checking in.
