We invite you to stay in our home! We have a cozy guest bedroom available in our quiet, two-story home built in the 1920s. Located in the Southeast Como neighborhood, our home is conveniently situated near the University of Minnesota, TCF Stadium, and Dinkytown - about a 15 to 30 minute walk to any of these locations. A great location for visiting students, alumni, parents, and those attending conferences on campus.

Hi there! We are Kevin and Caitlin and we are two young professionals living in our two story, single family home with our 17-pound dog Charlotte.
Our house is an older home that was built in the 1920s and contains the original woodwork and built in cabinets. We live in the Southeast Como neighborhood of Minneapolis, a lively student neighborhood located just north of the University of Minnesota.
We enjoy meeting new people and decided to rent out the spare guest bedroom in our house. Our house is conveniently located close to the main University of Minnesota campus and is also a short Uber or Lyft ride to Downtown and Northeast Minneapolis.
Our guest room features an Alexander Signature Series Mattress from Nest Bedding™. Guests often say that it's one of the best mattresses they've ever slept on!
The guest room also comes with a small desk, nightstand, table lamp, dresser, and closet. The door to the guest room has a latch that locks from the inside for travelers that might want additional privacy.
If you're interested in staying with us, please tell us a little bit about yourself and what brings you into town. We want to make sure you have a great stay in our home!
***For summer time guests - please note that we do not have air conditioning in our home. The temperatures in Minneapolis during the summer are usually in the mid-80s and in the 70's during the evening, so A/C usually isn't necessary (one of the perks of living in Minnesota), but if you're especially sensitive to heat, you might want to consider a different place.***

Interaktion mit Gästen
That's up to you! The two of us do live in the house and generally will just go about our day. Our dog Charlotte might follow you around.
We can make ourselves as available or unavailable as you like. We love speaking to guests about their travels and recommending great things to do in the city.
Weitere wichtige Infos
Pet Alert! Please note that we have a small, 17-pound Beagle-Italian Greyhound mix. She is very friendly and loves meeting new people.
We also may occasionally have a second small dog in our house, as we often pet sit for other people. Please be aware of this information if you do not like dogs or are otherwise allergic to dogs. We do keep our dog out of the guest room, but if you stay with us, you will see our dog walking around the house, so our house is not appropriate for guests who dislike dogs. On the other hand, our home is great for dog lovers!
Our front door is also equipped with a nifty Ring Video Doorbell. If you need help with anything, just ring the doorbell and I can communicate with you right through the doorbell!
Treat our home in the same manner that you would treat a friend or family member's house.
Follow the golden rule. Treat us in the same manner as you would like to be treated.
Smoking is not permitted in the house or anywhere near the house.
Please do not let our dog outside of the house without a leash. Make sure she doesn't run out of the house when you are leaving. Charlotte is a scent hound, so if she gets outside without a leash, she will run all over the place and get lost or worse.
If you want to take our dog outside, please message me first so that I know.
Because we have our own dog, guest dogs are only permitted on a case-by-case basis. Please check with us in advance before bringing any pets.
We do work during the day, so we ask that guests stay relatively quiet during the night on weekdays.
Have a great stay!
Hi there! I'm an attorney currently living and working in Minneapolis. I was born and raised in Washington DC, attended college at the University of Wisconsin and went to law school at the University of Minnesota.
I enjoy new technology, traveling, and meeting new people. In addition to being a guest on Airbnb, my wife and I also host guests in a spare room in our house.
Looking forward to meeting you!
