This light and airy two story apartment is a hidden gem in the heart of Camden, central London, within easy walking distance of both Camden Lock and the newly redeveloped King’s Cross Quarter. Set on the top two floors of an architect-designed block close to central Camden, it looks South over a stretch of the Regents Canal.
The apartment was fully refurbished in 2014 and features a sleek open-plan kitchen, rain shower and tub, high definition TV, free fibre WiFi and linen and towels. Suitable for shorter or longer stays, it provides the perfect base to explore Camden, London and beyond.

The apartment is entered from the West end of Baynes Street, close to the junction with Royal College Street, via a glass atrium with stairs around a central elevator to the raised outdoor mews above.
THE GROUND FLOOR of the apartment opens off the entrance hallway, with solid oak floors throughout, and comprises an open plan living space, with a sitting area, dining area and kitchen, all leading out to a large outdoor terrace.
THE KITCHEN is fully fitted with a Neff oven, gas hob with extractor, microwave and fridge with icebox. There is a separate six bottle integrated wine fridge, a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Finally, the kitchen comes complete with a kettle, toaster and La Pavoni espresso machine with milk frother. Coffee and tea are provided for guests. Cutlery, crockery and glassware is provided for six people, as are full cooking utensils and pans.
THE OPEN PLAN SITTING AND DINING AREA includes a comfortable sofa, armchairs, coffee table and extendable dining table and four chairs. A media unit houses a digital flatscreen HD television, with freeview channels, a DVD player and a fibre WiFi hub, offering 30Megabit internet throughout the property. At the other end of the room, the mini-library contains a broad selection of modern novels, reference books, local guidebooks, restaurant listings and takeaway menus and a selection of popular board games, and a printer for guest use.
THE LARGE OUTDOOR TERRACE is perfect to read the papers on a Sunday morning over breakfast or to barbecue later in the day. Opening off the main sitting area and with views over the canal, it includes outdoor furniture, integrated lighting and a charcoal barbecue. Guests may smoke on the outdoor balconies, but not in the apartment itself.
The property is particularly suited to families or groups travelling together, given the two single beds in the canal bedroom. It is secure, and the main balcony is edged with close fitting railings. The hall to the upstairs has a closing glass door on to the main living area, meaning children can be asleep upstairs whilst others relax downstairs – like a home away from home.

THE CORNER BEDROOM has large dual aspect windows, facing East to fill the room with sunlight in the morning, and South across the trees over the Grand Union canal towards central London. It benefits from two full size single beds with a sidetable and reading light and a large fitted wardrobe with full length mirrors.
THE BALCONY BEDROOM features a double bed, and has glass stable doors leading to a second small balcony overlooking the Regents Canal. The room also has a large fully fitted wardrobe with mirrors, and sidetables with reading lights.
THE BATHROOM is newly fitted and includes a bath to relax after a day looking for bargains in the markets, with a rain shower overhead.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in Jackie`s Wohnung. Sie ist sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Camden ist sehr abwechslungsreich und als Standort für einen Londonbesuch auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.U Bahn- und Bushaltestellen sind in der Nähe und gut Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auch. Spaziergänge am Kanal (in beide Richtungen) sind toll.

Excelente departamento para hacer tanto un viaje tranquilo como si quieres lugares para salir a la fiesta, limpio, con todo lo necesario, buen internet. Lo recomiendo.

Excellent place in a vibrant neighborhood. Check in was a breeze and the place was clean and tidy when we arrived. The layout is great - cozy for hanging out with the added privacy of the bedrooms on another floor. I would highly recommend.

Very central location:) close to everything we needed. It was nice to come home to after a long day out! Perfect for a family of four:) we would use it again! The balcony was an added bonus.

We had the most wonderful time at this gorgeous Camden apartment. Perfect location for wandering along the canal and all the wonderful nearby places. The apartment is sensational, clean, luxurious, spacious and all the mod cons. Thanks a million, we would recommend to everyone and will definitely come back if we are in London again!

Everything well organized. Top notch appliances, bath, and kitchen. Nice balcony. Close to tube, bus, and market. Owner very responsive. It is a busy, urban place, so would not recommend if you are extremely noise averse. But if London energy is your cup of tea, it's hard to do better. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Jackie's lovely apartment for 8 nights. It was exactly as described. My wife and I have two teenage boys 14 and 16 and they had their own room with single beds. It was very handy to do laundry and the Sainsburys close by is key. The Camden Town location is ideal and being on the Northern Line permits a straight shot to the main sites. Yes, the city is a bit loud and gritty but it was so nice to come home to an awesome updated flat. Definitely recommend this to families such as ours. Thanks Jackie
